So I went to the CNBC Asia page, mostly to see how they are spinning it today. [link to www.cnbc.com] I see Japan up 244 and I am, yet again, surprised by how capable TPTB are in manipulating the market. MSM is now saying radiation has been detected in spinach and milk. So, considering Japan is one of the most self sufficient countries with regards to food supply, I am duly impressed with a 2.72% rise in the Nikkei. We are witnessing masterful manipulation. Then, I am walking past the tv that is droning the usual misinformation and drivel and hear "...of course, Japanese markets are closed today but this was planned as it is a holiday in Japan." So back to my computer and the CNBC Asia page I go. Sure enough, the Nikkei is closed and the number on the CNBC page is Friday's number. Of course there is no mention of the holiday or the fact that while they are showing today's numbers for the other Asian markets, the Nikkei is Friday's close. Amazingly aggravating, isn't it? |
