Hydrogen green fuel comes a step closer
[link to tinyurl.com]
The institute, working with colleagues in Switzerland, France and Sweden on the EU-backed project, used sunlight to heat a metal ore, such as zinc oxide, to about 1,200° Celsius in the presence of charcoal. This split the ore, releasing oxygen and creating gaseous zinc, which was then condensed to a powder. The powder was later allowed to react with water, yielding hydrogen to be used as fuel and zinc oxide, which was recycled in the solar plant. [link to www.cyberspaceorbit.com] |

[link to news.nationalgeographic.com]
A sleek, almost silent, nonpolluting fuel cell-powered motorcycle is set to begin gliding down U.S. streets by the end of 2006. The bike is dubbed the ENV (pronounced "envy"), short for Emissions Neutral Vehicle. The London-based company Intelligent Energy decided to develop the bike itself after years of cool reception to its fuel cell technology from manufacturers. "We wanted to show how good the technology is right now and basically build what we thought would be a technical example...
The motorcycle has a top speed of 50 miles an hour (80 kilometers an hour) and can run for 100 miles (160 kilometers) or up to four hours on a tank of compressed hydrogen. A fill-up costs about four dollars (U.S.). ENV makes no more noise than a home computer and emits only heat and water. [link to www.cyberspaceorbit.com] |

 | | Re: Carl Cella: Fuel for free | Quote | ISLAY ISLAND POWERED BY CLEAN HYDROGEN FUEL
Wave Power StationThe Scottish Fuel Cell Consortium, a group of scientists and businesses backed by the Scottish Enterprise, views the island of Islay as a perfect place to implement hydrogen fuel cell power for all businesses and residents. Hydrogen would be generated from a wave power station already in operation and scientists hope to store the hydrogen in mobile fuel cell units.
The Scottish Fuel Cell Consortium chose the island of Islay because of its Limpet power wave power station in the Portnahaven village. With the intention of powering the island with clean hydrogen fuel, the Limpet power stations production of clean, renewable power to a national grid seemed like the likely choice for generating hydrogen through electrolysis. The first step in converting the island to hydrogen power remains a financial one, attracting businesses to invest in fuel cell technology.
If the project reaches full maturity, the Limpet wave station will power a hydrolyzing machine to produce hydrogen which will then be compressed and bottled to power vehicles, buildings and cottages. Secondary benefits of the initiative include bringing renewable technology back to the UK where wind power technology was developed, but due to inadequate governmental support Denmark became the world leader in renewable power generation.

Here they are!
Andriah Puharich
Archie blue
Bob Boyce
Carl Cella
Charles H. Garrett
Daniel Dingel
Hector Pierre Vaes
Nakamatsu Yoshiro
Sam Leslie Leach
Stanley Meyer
Steven Horvarth
And a few other unidentified people!
The most noteable of these was Stanley Meyer who is dead unfortunatley! In fact so are Carl Cella & Hector Pierre Vaes all before there time and under suspicious cercumstances! The rest have either been threatend, sold out or keep to them selves! Apparently it´s not a good idea to threaten Big Oil companys. An internet search will find info all of these individuals! |

solar hydrogen maybe where Deborah lodi says she is from. But enough to run and economy for the world. Do you know what materials are required for a cell. Do you know how rare they are. Do you know hydgrogen is the smallest element and can´t really be contained and it destroys its container as it leaks so you have to rebuild them †oo.
law of thermodyamics. learn it kent and then apply it to every device that claims to make hydrogen.
solar is the only possible way to do it at a somewhat reasonable cost. But other factors make it really pie in the sky.
wish it wornt so, but it is. |

i don´t know what you´re really up to but i´m with ya.
re your mention of puharich.
i knew puharich fairly well and i liked him. i couldnt have much to do with him because he kept company with some bad people.
puharich knew a lot- maybe too much- about applying electricity and electrodes to peoples brains. from the 1960´s he doggedly tried to prevent the hydrolysis(water splitting) that occurs where electrodes meet skin and foul up all the read-outs.
about 1973 he decided to study the problem in a comprehensive way.
he came up with an acoustically resonant cavity which was filled with water.
ALTERNATING CURRENT was introduced and adjusted in frequency until energy was suddenly absorbed by the water. this was DISTILLED water with no electrolyte added. a mutual friend told me about it and asked me what i thought. i said it was too vague to guess about and i had just got 2 new frequency generators so i´d build one and see.
it got very interesting. years later puharich claimed 90+% efficiency and was universally disbelieved- but all that was just a technicality because what i found was that he had inadvertantly invented a slicker-than-snot heat pump that could work off very low temperature differentials.
he would hear none of that.
he was wrong but that doesnt really matter.
he was cooling the surroundings and lensing the energy gain into the hydrogen bond. water not completely dissassociated had almost no surface tension and was a DANGEROUS solvent.
what that all means to your water fueled limo is that it still probably isnt possible due to size of required equipment, but you could scale it up on some waste propety out in arizona , using solar concentrators or something and make hydrogen fuel at a system efficiency of around 90 % AND produce hot water and air conditioning at the same time GRATIS. that comes out to an EFFECTIVE, REAL WORLD efficiency of 100+ % [link to www.cyberspaceorbit.com] |
