they're are suppose to be on oppisite sides of the sun creating a wobble in the gravitational pull, with lots of flares.

I thought the alignment was gonna be that our solar system would be dead center of the spiral milky way galaxy on 12-21-12. An alignment that only occurs every 26,000 years.

Yes, right NOW Jupiter, the Sun, Earth & Saturn aligns MUCH better than in 2012. Check it out, the Earth & Sun are between Jupiter & Saturn....

No but the Earth, the Sun and Comet Elenin are in alignment just like on the date of the Chile 2010 Earthquake on 27th Feb. And like the the Japan Quake on March 11th 2011.

They are in alignment again is 21st December 2012 (or around that time)

But there are over 200 comets out there with 6 being closer to the Earth than Elenin right now. Why don't we hear about them?

The Best alignment for Saturn, Earth, Sun & Jupiter is April 6, 2011. That's when Jupiter will line up best with the Sun from Earth. Saturn will be on the opposite side of the Earth. April 6th, two weeks....

Err, don't the Earth, Sun and the centre of our galaxy line up twice a year - every year? Once with Earth on each side of the Sun? Or is the solar system not level with the galaxy plane to begin with?

That's NOTHING compared to what happened on 12-21-10... Winter Solstice, Eclipsing Blood Moon on the Torch of Orion, planetary alignments, alignment with galactic center, you name it... the perfect time to have a massive ritual celebrating the change of an era.
