So, we are within the 2 - 3 day timeline. Nothing happend yet..
Although I think OP is legit, I'm really sceptical that something like this will happen before tomorrow end of day (or let's say this week). The civil defence guy is probably legit too, but who gave him the info and how legit is that info?
If I should put my money on it; it will not happen (at least on short term).

I think the 'sloshing' ground was due to the fact that the ground level has dropped about 40 centimeter, making the ground water lever rise --> coming to the surface. This will not cause a tsunami. I even wonder if this process is still going on .. Only thing that could happen is a partial collapse of the ridge just of the east shore of Japan which could trigger a land slide. However IMO this is something that would take centuries causing Japan to sink bit by bit (but only little bits) Hey great hypothesis, Thank you. Yeah I wonder as well if it's still happening (sloshing), well guys and gals this Friday is the deadline. Question is; will you/ we be disappointed when this thing doesn't come to pass? It would be nice to see that someone on GLP that posted something upfront a big event actually is spot on... The event itself would be no reason to cheer though..
