This is intimidation. The law says US currency is to be used for DEBTS public and private. This is to make the debt/bond market stable and attractive to foreign investors. No one has to accept US dollars/coins at the retail level. Retail sales are a contract. The contract can be for two things of value. |

I say "Fine, call me a Terrorist. If that's my yellow star, I'll wear it with pride." |

While these forms of anti-government activities do not involve violence, they are every bit as insidious and represent a clear and present danger to the economic stability of this country.” These remarks were released by the US Attorney’s office in the western district of North Carolina following the conviction of one Bernard von NotHaus, the creator of the ill-fated Liberty Dollar. As you likely recall from a few years ago, Liberty Dollars were privately minted gold and silver rounds. Paper certificates, akin to warehouse receipts were also issued, effectively giving the bearer a right to claim a certain amount of gold or silver at the group’s warehouse in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This is traditionally how the system of money used to function– precious metals would be stored in private, secure storage facilities, and paper certificates were issued as a medium of exchange that entitled the bearer to redeem metal from the vault. Liberty Dollars represented a return to that system. Clearly, the Justice Department feels otherwise… instead viewing these silver rounds as an attempt by terrorists to undermine the US dollar. Interesting choice of words. Undermine? “verb [transitive]. to erode the base or foundation of something. to damage or weaken, especially gradually. ” [link to www.zerohedge.com] |

I can prove my daughter's trial was fixed. The Feds actually told me to "never contact them again." I believe this is because my daughter's case went all the way to the Supreme Court in Oregon and many judges in Oregon are helping to cover up a crime! I need a good reporter to help me...this is all documented on court record. Including the fact that I was illegally appointed my own child"s Guardian ad Litem...(which i did not discover until recently.) The system in completely broken and this needs to be exposed and discussed! |

He also was charged with conspiracy against the United States. " This is technically the crime that he committed. You can't issue coins which are attempting to imitate U.S. currency "The FBI claims that NOFRED “intended for the Liberty Dollar to be used as current money in order to limit reliance on, and to compete with, United States currency.”" It is NOT illegal to create a competing currency. However, this is the real reason they charged him and brought him down "“While these forms of anti-government activities do not involve violence, they are every bit as insidious and represent a clear and present danger to the economic stability of this country,” said US Attorney Anne M. Tompkins." This is a completely spurious argument |
