Real life was a struggle, and went through difficult years, with family members health breaking down. I had a strong faith, even contemplated joining the religious life in my early 20's. Our family had a mixed background from athiesm like my fathers side, and maternal grandfather, though he had later had an experience that changes his life, but was a really humble man, and didn't believe in Church's or any form of excluding others, to my mother being agnostic. But my grandmother's family was large, Catholic. When they moved to the area, it topped the population high enough for the Church to be built there. My grandmother was also very comfortable to have a private faith. Two years before she passed away at 89, while at her house, where had experienced yet another siting, she had suggested that wouldn't it be something if Jesus was an ET. Though I don't share that, rather feel this relates to Family and EU's, extra universals. And she shared that, she had woken in the night after grandfather had passed away, and knew there were people in her room, felt they were ET, just seemed to know it, and was very alarmed. She said they had to have come through the window, and even though she was wide awake with panic mounting, she was suddenly pulled into sleep.

So my grandmother remained a free thinker until she passed on!

My own health gradually broke down with the birth of my five sons. My thryoid quit 100%, and then after two heart issues, I was finally diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, as the medications didn't work properly. It was suggested that radiation would kill the thryoid. I've also discovered amongst several other experiencers, that 3 of them had hypo thyroidism, ie. it was turned down, and one, who had flashes of night time activities, and seemed to work round the clock, his thyroid was turned up. I don't think its a coincidence. Though, I also noticed the year I was born, 1963, was also the year that there was more nuclear tests performed in the atmosphere than any other time. It could relate as well.

During this time period, I had questions, felt things were very odd, but would set them aside and not question again for months or even a year later. I would wake up with bruises on my thighs, and legs, and had two missing cycle episodes, had a regular cycle that was always 26-28 days no matter what level of stress, or what move we had made was occurring. But twice, with no male figure involved, once before my children, and once after my relationship broke up, I had 2 1/2 months of missing cycles. With all the symptoms of early pregnancy. Then suddenly it would begin again. I didn't use a test for this as there was no man, therefore there was no way this could be real.

My own children also had spontaneous nose bleeds, bruises and odd things, such as small wounds on the two oldest heads, that seemed to perfectly line up on both sides, and near the ears and down the neck. I have seen in a memory leak a reason for this. My second youngest while a baby, woke in his crib, he was not at the age of climbing or being mobile yet, with a severe nose bleed, and we called 9/11 and had the emergency team show up to finally, after checking him over, determine this was a very severe spontaneous event.

So these were the preliminary years without any idea or interest in ufology issues.
