The Chinese military may have been infiltrating troops into northern Mexico for several years.



There appears to be a huge military base in the northeast outskirts of Monterrey, Mexico that is only 60 miles or so south of Laredo, TX. This is according to the personal testimony of a trucker from Texas who delivered a semi tractor trailor full of food to the base and was escorted there by a number of Mexican federales.



As seen on Google Earth, the Chinese military base has thousands of armoured personnel carriers parked there. The Chinese troops that are stationed there are living in barracks made from modified large shipping containers.



Also, about two years ago Mexico City's Tourism Secretary went public with his being in favor of doing away with travel visas being required for Chinese tourists who wish to visit Mexico. Convenient, no?



The U.S. could conceivably be much closer to an actual Chinese ground invasion than we once thought was possible.
