I wanna make some salmon cakes without eggs what can I substitute?

2 Tbsp corn starch = 1 egg
2 Tbsp arrowroot flour = 1 egg
2 Tbsp potato starch = 1 egg
1 heaping Tbsp soy powder + 2 Tbsp water = 1 egg
1 Tbsp soy milk powder + 1 Tbsp cornstarch + 2 Tbsps water = 1 egg.
1 Tbsp flax seeds + 1 cup water = 1 egg. Blend seeds and water for 1 to 2 minutes
until desired consistency.
1 banana = 1 egg in cakes.

Homemade egg substitute recipe

Homemade egg substitutes are less expensive and just as satisfactory. They also have few calories. Here´s a low cholesterol egg substitute recipe:

1 tablespoon of nonfat dry milk powder
2 egg whites from large eggs
4 drops of yellow food color

Sprinkle powdered milk over egg whites, then beat them with fork until smooth. Add food color, and beat until blended. This makes one-fourth cup, which is equal to 1 large egg. If you use this homemade substitute for scrambled eggs, cook it in vegetable oil or margarine so the eggs won´t be too dry.

Leave the salmon eggs out. Use peas.

A little milk. About 2 tablespoons or a hair less. Works pretty good. Per egg.

Speaking of which, I´d really appreciate it if you´d pass-on yer recipe for Salmon-cakes, I´ve got two cans of Salmon to use and now you´ve made me hungry for them.....

Thing is, I like eggs so I don´t need the substitutions.

I just throw stuff together when I make cakes, but
there is a label on one of the cans.

But on mine I use a good dash of soy sauce, and
lots of diff spices, some spicy mustard, some
hot sauce, then I cook it on my george forman
grill.

I do declare... the last time I ate salmon cakes, I narry blew chunks!

Well, ya know... different people have different tastes.

I make a sea food salad that people eat without making faces.

I use salmon steak or mahi-mahi or both, shrimps, crab meat (I think it´s fake meat), mayo, black pepper, and celery.

Cook the fish with butter.
Warm up the shrimps or cook with butter if uncooked.
Warm up the crab meat.
Throw them all in a salad bowl.
Add mayo and pepper to taste.
Throw in some celery.

Get some tortilla chips and eat.

dammit Mo... i got four cans I gotta eat.. now I gots to wait till the next disaster when I don´t have much choice.

I´ve just finished cooking and eating the creation based on number 4 from cook.com ... it was superb
highly recommended and totally eggless. it is the
vidalia onions and the mini foremon grill that are the key and the right spicess also. can´t really
go wrong though.
