What stories about lucifer and prometheus exactly should be read? Also, how would anyone transcend the physical realm entirely? To my knowledge every one does this when they sleep or use their imagination reading. It's not some acquired skill. How Prometheus was trying to do good by giving mankind knowledge, but messed up with the natural order, resulting in his punishment. How Lucifer thought he could be above the natural order because he was so smart, but got his ass kicked out of heaven for this. We shouldn't oppose the natural order of things because we think we know better. We should accomodate it. Gotcha. So, in your opinion, is it blasphemous to acquire certain knowledge? What you are saying kind of goes along with the bible. Follow these rules or you will be spited. This is all reminiscent of the Book of Enoch which was excluded from the bible by the Council of Nicea. (sp?) It tells of fallen angels coming down and sharing knowledge with mankind, resulting in their damnation.
