Always. If I get afraid and listen to my mind/ego, I always regret it, but if I slow down, refuse to listen to the fear and doubt and instead listen to what my heart tells me, it never fails me, it is never wrong. This is my true blessing.

Welcome. I have learned much here.

As I said honey, this change has made me very happy in my old age. I have never been happier. When I was young and I always reacted with my mind/ego, my life was always in turmoil and a mess. Once I learned to quiet my mind, relax and search within me, my life became a beautiful and amazing experience.

I just have not had any luck experiencing things outside of this physical body like many have talked about lately.

I am blessed for what I have been given though.

Op, I haven't read Soaring Bear's reply yet, so we'll see how similar our responses are... love testing thought patterns this way.


First off, everyone is unique. ALWAYS keep that in mind.
Second, is everyone has blocks. IMO, these blocks are what others call 'sins'. They also match up with the chakra system. It is all connected, you just have to look at it from the correct angle of perception.

Now that I have said that, you must understand it properly. All of us are unique, that is both physically and spiritually. So, some of us might be natural in our nature to more easily access these 'altered states'...or, some of us have worked on it for most of our lives to get to the point to where it is 'natural'.

Either way, it takes an immense amount of will-power to achieve 'spiritual growth' in these states, and not just mastering the experiences so you can 'fly in your dreams'.

I have worked on these things (trying to lucid dream, oobe, altered states through meditation, etc) throughout my entire life. And, I was driven...Why? Because I had experiences that have occurred to me that I had to understand (natural ability), so I had to work and work and practice and try everything I could think so I could have them at will (lots of will-power) so I could figure out the things that were/are happening to me...

See, it all is connected. There is no one answer for what you are thinking about.

Now, look at the chakra systems and think for yourself. Do you have anything that is 'blocked'? Look at the 7 sins. Do you have work to do on making sure you do not live in sin?

Why are these things important to these states? Because they do not really exist on the other side. So, if you have blocks, it is much harder to cross over easily and consciously. That's right, its a fucking hard thing to accomplish. That is why it is always about yourself. That is why the answers are all inside YOU.

Damn, I am rambling and going off on tangents.

Now, some input that is not quite so deep. In my experiences, the BEST thing you can do is master the lucid dream state. If you master lucid dreaming, you have mastered 'all of the above'.

So, go out and buy Steve LeBarge's 3 books on Lucid dreaming. If you master the first one, then you have broken through.

Also, meditate whenever you can. You might think you are accomplishing nothing, but that is completely inaccurate. You just don't 'know' yet.

I do not mean that to sound 'religious', I am saying that purely from an analytical way. You crave sex? Guess what happens when you master being lucid in dreams? All you do, is go around having sex (especially when you learn how to 'alter' body parts ). So, that one thing can block you from spiritually advancing your SELF, because you're too busy humping to practice true spiritual aspects instead. IMO, this is why the sins are bad...not because you will go to Hell, lol, but because it is a block in spiritual growth...

Well, like I said, take a look at the chakra systems, and find out where your problems might be. Or, where you can 'improve' yourself. You don't have to believe in the chakra system (though it helps), but it is a guide to finding out how to begin re-making yourself to be pure.

It helps you with ego/fear, and makes you begin to truly understand yourself.

In that way, if you feel you have 'blockages' you WILL find out where they are. then, work to fix them in your physical life, as well as spiritual (what you think and why you think it).

Btw op, once you obliterate your ego, you will realize you are, in reality, a spiritual being. Once that realization takes place, fear fades away. You will KNOW that you are eternal. At that point, you will have changed irrevocably and completely...what a beautiful thing...like Dude said, you will be amazed.

I like amazement. As I have gotten older, life is honestly constant amazement. How can people be bored or fearful with all of this going on?

From my observations, there is next step after that...
Eventually you will find that just observing the fact that you have missed your mark (sin) is enough to 'fix' it.
Nothing left to do, for you have muster to observe yourself from the highest/Christ Consciousness.
You have been Observer, which you are.

At the end, I didn't obliterate my ego. I hate it with vengeance time or two.
Instead, I've learned to question (when aware :-)) validity/sovernity of ego advice. Most of the time, I have different opinion. Sometimes though, I am glad I listen.
Ego is no longer my boss, just adviser.
Alive and well. Couldn't do without.

This is an amazing post, I love to hear other people are going through the same thing. I learn so much from everyone on here.

I have always believed that I was being brainwashed as a kid with religions,like I knew it was so much more than that. I knew it was a way of control to hold you back for being your true self.

I can truly feel this connection on a unexplainable level. I have been hearing alot of people saying that they feel weird and thats the only way they can describe it. I have noticed that alot of poeple are just experiencing this at different levels. Some of us started this years ago, some just recently. Can you imagine if we all experienced the same levels of this at the same time. Closed minded people can't handle this and I think they are very frightened right now and are also confused. These are the people I feel drain me when they are around. They are the negative energies. And I wonder if the negative energies are collectively feeling things too?

It's NOT a trick. ( we all are yapping the words which are lying, but are excellent excuse to cover up the TRUTH).
It's a surrender, commitment, discipline, if you wish.
Once you see it that-a way listening becomes sharing of the same tapestry.
Being in the moment, where Serious Commune-ication is taking place.
That, once understood, and licked,;-), is like ice cream.
It cools you down and make you want more.
But you can't listen while thinking.
