That kind of an event could only occur with a polar shift. You don't have just real bad tsunamis just burying all that land.

I hate even posting this but ...here goes.

I see Japan getting hit again. I don't see any real recovery for them. So, while the flavor of the day is regarding Japan and debt ...soon it will become a non-issue, almost overnight.

The islands North West of Australia and Australia are taking a hit.

The wall of water will also effect California and Oregon. Oregon will be able to move people away from the coast more efficiently than California will.

The Baja and Gulf of California get major changes. The sea rises in the Gulf of Mexico causing issues with Texas mainly. BUt, the view that I see is what you might see from a helicopter and it(California/West Coast/Baja Peninsula), The Texas Mexico border) is unrecognizable.

There is enough water being displaced from the Pacific to cause issues (changes) with the Mississippi river.

Florida benefits by the displacement of people.

Re: how many of you think California will be under water in a year?
much of california is above 3000 feet in elevation, with much of that above 5000 feet. maybe the LA basin might have some problems, but as a whole, no, california will not be underwater .
"Those who would sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither"
--Benjamin Franlkin

No one ever said freedom was safe. Upon true understanding of the concepts of freedom, you shall realize that freedom is the most dangerous choice of lifestyle. There are no guarantees in freedom but those one provides for themselves, at their own will. True freedom comes with extreme personal risk. Are you willing to take the risk?
