Not so. It was named after John Denver. John Denver, 1970's acoustic superstar who was behind such hits as "Rocky Mountain High" and "Sunshine on my Shoulders". Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1277942John Denver was an avid aviator. He was also famously assassinated while flying a plane. John Denver loved airplanes...and airplanes loved John Denver. Because of this, they decided to name Denver International Airport after him. The irony is that John Denver himself named himself after the city of Denver. His real name was Henry John Deutschdorf, Jr. "Deutschdorf" means "German Village" in German. Now you see the Nazi connection. Denver Int'l runways shaped like a swastika. NOT A COINCIDENCE. Also, Denver Int'l is officially known as "DIA"....DEAD IN AIRPLANE. John Denver's death was foretold by Illuminati astrologers...DIA finished in 1994...Denver died in 1997. 3 YEARS LATER. 3: SACRED NUMBER...I'm not done. John Denver was born Dec. 31, 1943 in....ROSWELL. Yes, Roswell, New Mexico. What are the odds? Now we have UFO-DIA-NAZI all connected together. And the famous crash happened when John Denver was *3* years old. Pretty spooky to think about. political correctness is a doctrine.... fostered by a delusional, illogical minority...... and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end. |

User ID: 1217629 United States 03/26/2011 02:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is not a COINCIDENCE that the following singers/athletes/celebrities have all died in plane crashes: 1.When it comes to celebrities who died in plane crashes, the standard was set on Feb. 3, 1959, when a small plane crashed in Iowa, claiming the lives of Ritchie Valens (pictured), the Big Bopper... 2.and Buddy Holly. The crash came to be known as 'The Day the Music Died,' thanks in large part to Don McLean's 1971 song 'American Pie.' 3.Ricky Nelson, a contemporary of Holly, Valens, and the Big Bopper, died in a plane crash himself on New Year's Eve in 1985, along with six others. 4.But they weren't the first plane-related deaths to hit pop music. Legendary bandleader Glenn Miller was the most popular artist in the 1940s. But he gave up a lucrative civilian lifetstyle to join the military in World War II. In 1944, we was set to fly from England to France to play for the troops who had recently liberated Paris. Miller's plane disappeared over the English Channel in 1944 and was never found. 5.Otis Redding was on the cusp of stardom when he died in a 1967 plane crash. The soul singer's "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay," released posthumously, became a monster hit. 6.Jim Croce died in a plane crash in 1973, just before his album "I Got a Name" was to be released. The small commercial plane crash was blamed on pilot error. Croce, aged 30, still gets significant radio airplay for hits like "Bad Bad Leroy Brown" and "You Don't Mess Around With Jim." 7.By that time, another rock n' roll plane crash had cast its own looming shadow. On October 20, 1977, the plane carrying Lynyrd Skynyrd ran out of fuel and crashed in rural Mississippi, killing lead singer Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist Steve Gaines, and backup singer Cassie Gaines, along with the band's tour manager and the plane's pilot and co-pilot. 8.Stevie Ray Vaughn died in a helicopter, which crashed into a ski slope after the legendary guitarist jammed with Eric Clapton in Wisconsin on August 26, 1990. He was just 35. 9.R&B sensation Aaliyah died younger still. The Brooklyn native was just 22 when, after filming a music video, her plane went down shortly after takeoff on August 25, 2001. 10.Patsy Cline also died at the peak of her career, as severe weather brought her plane down in mountains near Camden, Tenn., on March 5, 1963. 11.John Denver is one of several celebrities who died piloting his own plane, as an experimental two-seater he was piloting went down after takeoff on the coast of California on October 12, 1997. 12.John F. Kennedy, Jr. died in a plane crash on July 16, 1999, along with his wife, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and her sister, Lauren, when the plane he was piloting crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. 13.On August 2, 1979, Yankees catcher Thurman Munson died trying to land his plane at Akron/Canton Regional Airport. 14.History repeated in tragic fashion on October 11, 2006, when Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle crashed his plane into a Manhattan apartment building. 15.Other great athletes who died in plane crashes include baseball legend Roberto Clemente... 16.champion golfer Payne Stewart... 17.and boxing champ Rocky Marciano. 18.Former Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone did his fighting in legislative arena, until he died in a plane crash while running for re-election in 2002. 19.Of all the notable celebrities who have died in plane crashes, however, Will Rogers may have the most unique legacy: an Oklahoma City airport is named for him, where millions of passengers each year board their flights at an airport named for the victim of a fatal plane crash. However, they would not let him into their sandbox (the Aspen Institute). So, there is no way "they" would have named DIA after John Denver; they had little use for him. DIA is wierd as shit - no question. Yes, it is built over an old Native American burial ground. As I understand it, John Denver was having a hard personal time in the period of his crash. Even so, I could well imagine his death might not have been entirely accidental. |

What did he do to piss off the illuminati OP? Quoting: Useful RepEATERHe was a rebel rouser, for sure. After his music career, he pretty much devoted himself to charity causes. Fighting hunger and the destruction of the environment. He wasn't much different from John Lennon (even wore the same type of glasses). TPTB wanted him dead. He was a celebrity with a message that needed to be silenced. The airport was named after him in grim irony. The whole DIA is grim irony. The apocalyptic murals, the demonic horse sculpture, etc., it's all a way TPTB like to say "F*** You!" to all of us and rub it in our faces. Hide their secrets in plane sight. PLAIN SIGHT, I meant. Freudian slip, or was it? |
