Anonymous Coward User ID: 1312897 Sweden 03/26/2011 02:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Radioactive cobalt detected! Tokyo will never be evacuated, even in a worst-case scenario. It's just too big. There is no place to move the 13 million slaves. No evacuation order will be issued. They will just play it down untill people start becoming sick, to keep the government functioning. They have detected radioactive cobalt, most likely cobalt-60, in the Ocean near the Fukushima nuclear power plant. This is bad, cobalt-60 is what they would've used in a cobalt bomb, a so called salted bomb. Forget plutonium, cobalt-60 is even more radioactive. The concept of a cobalt bomb was originally described by physicist Leó Szilárd, who suggested that an arsenal of cobalt bombs would be capable of destroying all human life on Earth (whether he was actually right is disputable). Cobalt was chosen because of the fallout, that would have a half-life of 5.27 years and would be intensely radioactive at the same time. While there exist isotopes with a longer half-life than 60Co, they are also insufficiently radioactive.[1] Many isotopes are more radioactive (gold-198, tantalum-182, zinc-65, sodium-24, and many more), but they would decay faster, possibly allowing some population to survive in shelters. To provide a point of reference: to equally distribute 1 gram of cobalt per square kilometer of Earths surface one needs 510 tonnes.[2] [ link to en.wikipedia.org] Quoting: WikipediaIf we have a catastrophic meltdown in the reactors at Fukushima, and they blow up due to a steam explosion, they could spread significant amounts of cobalt-60 all over Japan, along with uranium, plutonium, caesium-137 and iodine-131. Cobalt-60 is most dangerous though, because it's particles are very light and can be carried longer distances by the wind. All you need is a few grams distributed in small particles per square kilometer and it'll be a mess for hundreds of years. Uranium and plutonium will probably not make it far outside 100km of the plant by wind though, they are too heavy. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1313866True. The government would be paralyzed if they evaced 13 million peeps. |

They will engineer another 9+ quake directly under tokyo as a diversion from the radioactivity there that soon, will be unable to be concealed by the jap media as people start keeling over due to radiation poisoning.

They'll never evacuate the city. Hell it was firebombed into hell during WW2, no evacuation. It's the biggest city in Japan, with the ``biggest`` history, with 25% of the population living there. Can you imagine evacuating your financial center and 25% of your population? Japan does that and it's over, especially since they are already bankrupt. So it would literally need a nuclear reactor in downtown tokyo to go boom, with people dying of radiation within hours to force them to move. |

I still say the whole incident is staged and the radiation was/is caused by controlled detonation of tactical nuclear devices (probably on ocean floor near coast).
I think Benjamin Fulford may have a point. |
