Re: Scientists Baffled As Thousands Of Beetles Invade Austalian Gold Coast
We have to learn from the past ....
few days before the earthquake of Japan , we saw many dead animals of different kind , and scientist didn't give any explanation about it ,
I think now , those Beetles are the nature alarm of some disasters that could happen withen the next few days ,
Australians must prepare for whatever it can happen....

But remember; the dead fish for example that was on 03/09/11 was in CA and then on 03/11/11 Japan gets whacked.

Thing is these beetles are freshwater, and are rarely seen near the ocean. I seen these the other morning thousands of them along the beach front (I live about 10-15mins from Surfers paradise)They stink when they get squashed and are a complete nuisance to traffic and motorcyclists

Thats pretty nasty, question: Do you see a lot more birds around eating these squashed bugs? Maybe food for birds after they freaked the hell out this past winter.

not really mate. if anything I don't see as many ibises as I used to. The comment about the seagulls is pretty spot on though.
those that see, can truly say they are not blind....
