Radiation “Heat” the Ocean? | |

The approaching brown dwarf emits infrared (heat), ultraviolet and x-rays. Also, its magnetic field, combined with that of the Sun, is squeezing and injuring our magnetosphere, which normally shields us from much incoming radiation. So we're getting more radiation AND we are less shielded from the radiation that we get hit with. A few NASA STERO images of the brown dwarf near the Sun last month: [link to tinypic.com] [link to tinypic.com] [link to tinypic.com] [link to tinypic.com] It's coming our way now. Expect to see more incoming radiation, along with more meteorite impacts, mass animal die-offs, volcanic eruptions, quakes, sinkholes, landslides, etc. I hope we survive its passage. |
