Although I've never seen estimates of the magnitude of the explosion (a steam explosion, not nuclear) that would occur if / when the hot slag hits the water table. I am somewhat surprised we don't seem to have any such events yet. Have they succeeded by some other means of keeping it out of the water? So I don't know where Gorbachev got his estimate that all Europe would be uninhabitable. I would like to see that calculation. Another interesting question is why so little was done in the first days. Where was the huge international mobilization? And I don't mean the US Navy running away! Why do you say the US Navy is running away? The Navy is evacuating its dependents and personnel who cannot assist with the nuclear reactors. The US Navy has sent a ship with coolant and trained personnel, plus other Navy assets to work with the Japanese defense group to remedy the problem. |

They had high levels of radiation. there are many levels that are elevated, way above the "background" level and these places are NOT in the reactor. [link to translate.google.com] |

I just visited his youtube channel (zorincash) and his listed country is Australia. This is the original, unedited video he posted about Japan. It's about 2 minutes longer than the other one. [link to www.youtube.com] I think he was a non english speaker who learnt English in Australia. So Australian with an accent. He does sound a little bit Sth African though. No way he's South African. Sarfies tend to intermix their English with some Afrikaans slang. He looks mixed race part Jap though so he's probably not got that pukka settler Aussie twang (sounds Aussie enough to me bar a few words). Which probably accounts for why he is so torn over the country's plight. that's what I was thinking...1/2 japanese 1/2 aussie He sounds Aussie or Kiwi-ish....and he reminds me of Maoris from New Zealand...who also tend to sound a bit 'off' from both the mainstream Aussies and Kiwis around there......but who knows. |

Why do you say the US Navy is running away? The Navy is evacuating its dependents and personnel who cannot assist with the nuclear reactors. The US Navy has sent a ship with coolant and trained personnel, plus other Navy assets to work with the Japanese defense group to remedy the problem. Their first reaction was to evacuate. That video by the Okinawa base commander implied that more evacuation was coming. It was pretty weird. A couple weeks later, now we are providing fresh water. Tanks of fresh water. I also read in this thread or another one that we moved our nuclear ships away because their radiation detectors would peg, giving a false-positive for radiation problems in the ship. I don't know but it's taken a long time for the US Navy to resume moving toward the problem rather than away from it. . DON'T VAX, PROPHYLAX! ____________ There is no anger in Me: If one offers Me thorns and thistles, I will march to battle against him, And set all of them on fire. Japan becomes the furnace that fuels the atmosphereic condition of all lands lying to the West of ground zero in this event, and eventually to envelope the globe continuously... no time to pass out bottled water however as our trigger fingers are itching to get down and dirty as we plunge knee deeply into our next wholesale crusade to bring liberty to no one and injustice for all... even ourselves the perpetrators in the process, both up close and personally and no, of course they don't notice that last truth, they have been completely and utterly consumed by a Parasitic Host entity who is given only to taking... including with regard to it's own now it's off to the west coast on our world tour with the imminently progressive "slam bam thank you ma'am" politically correct operatives before we jet onwards to the next item on the Illumined Manifesto, which at this point and from here on in it is up to YOU alone to discriminate and determine with regard to location of concurrent event/events by first paying thru your nose to keep up on all their upcoming timely disclosures which are represented in full by the main stream media event operations command and control center (headquarters) together with the vehicle known as Holly-FRACKING-wierd... for starters. fracking, isn't that where they fuck a bad scene up even more so by pumping filler down into the hole they've dug for themselves in effort to initiate a relative reaction (yes, any kind will do) by putting "pressure" on the situation/crowd just to throw things off balance if nothing else? backfracking... wonder if that's a word yet, well it is now at any rate and the definition will follow in turn, always does I find. backfracking is where you literally suck the wind out of the opponents lungs or the wind from his sails and create an inversionary "event" whereby you maintain the strategic intentions of fracking in general but instead throw the same energies around a bit differently and see what ends up coming up/down and what quite literally blows right out both sides, between (for some reason cern comes to mind) Few if any rules apply in this regard but there are exceptions to every rule, and the fact that there are just happens to be one of them... this is number two: "keep yer eyes OFF the road and yer hands upon your EARS" you see from here on in - Roadhouse Blues Deliveries will bring your destination, to you. |

Please provide links that airlines have stopped servicing Japan Airlines won't even fly OVER Tokyo any more, most have rerouted to Osaka. Likely, these too will end soon. I don't know how you would move 37 million people from Tokyo to Osaka. . . Airlines are starting to count the financial cost of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated large areas of northeastern Japan on March 11. The International Air Transport Association has warned of a “major slowdown” for airlines operating in the Japanese market and says that this is unlikely to recover before the second half of 2011. In 2010, the value of air traffic in and out and within Japan totaled $62.5 billion, 17 percent of which consisted of traffic between Japan and the U.S. On March 22, Delta Air Lines warned that disruption to Japanese services and falling demand for seats could strip $400 million from its profits this year. Delta and many other international airlines have had to contend with issues such as the need to reroute flights to avoid radioactive contamination in the airspace near damaged nuclear reactors and aircrew overnights in Tokyo. [link to www.ainonline.com] Japanese air carriers cancelled hundreds of flights, grounding thousands of passengers, while airlines elsewhere in Asia and Europe diverted or suspended flights bound for Tokyo Friday after a massive 8.9-magnitude earthquake struck northeast Japan, temporarily halting operations at Tokyo's main airports. [link to online.wsj.com] Deutsche Lufthansa AG (LHA) said today that the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear crisis in Japan have left the airline industry in shock, as British Airways became the latest carrier to pull crews out of Tokyo and Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. (293) reported plummeting travel to the country. Lufthansa was the first major carrier to reroute flights away from Tokyo amid fears of radioactive fallout from nuclear plants damaged following last week’s earthquake. [link to www.bloomberg.com] |
