I used to go to youtube and find something new daily in interests and recommended videos, not anymore, sick and tired of seeing the same video suggestions again and again, i think i'm in an 'internet bubble', google must have applied the same filters/ tech as they did with the search engine.

Tehy've also made it less user friendly, less homepage customization options (infact none, select wall paper thats it)

Fuck youtube, its shit now the corps own it

1)Now you have to provide a phone number to be able to load videos or post comments, fuck them.
2)Became too popular and mainstream so its hard to find good content among so much crap.
3)Content control has become insane.
5)Fucking commercials
6)featured videos (sometimes chosen by who?)
7)negative likes don't display anymore on comments(retarded pussies)
8)Many cool features desapeared(disapeard...whatever)and the desing gets uglier with time.
9)The new user images a la facebook in the comments section
10)lacks an advanced search feature, with so much videos it should be posible to search by year, user+topic, and stuff.

It's a common mistake..
Whenever a video gets over 314 unique IP views within a small amount of time it is buffered for a night and then the views update 16 hours later or so..
So people are always like "omg 314 viwer for the 500000th time, it's a conspiracy!!"

It seems I often have to watch commercials on everything now, and many times, they are longer than the video I wanted to watch.

I use XBMC mostly nowadays to watch stuff like YouTube and Hulu- no commercials.

I can't stand all the ads.

Youtube has been crap for a long time now.

I hardly use it anymore.

Adobe flash player was bashed earlier in the thread. Regardless, both Adobe flash player and Java constantly update in an effort to be ahead of hackers finding exploits. I suggest updating both and try the site again.

Because everything that is cool and easy to use eventually gets monetized.
