Quoting: MadBob 1208351The study suggests that Jesus and his disciples used the drug to carry out miraculous healings. The anointing oil used by Jesus and his disciples contained an ingredient called kaneh-bosem which has since been identified as cannabis extract. It is not exactly the same recipe that is listed in Exodus, it has only one ounce of marijuana instead of fifteen ounces. However, this recipe has been used on human beings and used with prayer, worked to relieve pain. I have used this on a man suffering from Aids, another man with severe upper back pain from a pinched nerve, on a woman with severe lower back pain associated with her monthlys, on a man suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and on myself for various pains and abrasions. 1 pint Organic Sesame Seed oil 1 pint Organic Olive Oil .06 oz Cinnamon bark oil (Cassia) (1 eighth of a .5 oz bottle) .06 oz Cinnamon leaf oil (1 eighth of a .5 oz bottle) 1 oz of Myrrh Gum 1 oz of Marijuana |

Daniel 4:20- The tree you saw, which grew large and strong, with its top touching the sky, visible to the whole earth. Mark 4:20-Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop–thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown. Luke 4:20-Then he rolled up the scroll... lol I think not. Educate yourself! The more you know the better of a chance you have to survive a world as crazy as ours. Knowledge is Power! . |

It seriously is a miraculous plant, clothing, food, relaxation. The fact that it grows relatively easy and to a big bushy size does indeed produce a crop "sixty or even a hundred times what was sown." Fucking retards outlawed one of GODS plants! Then the LORD said to Moses, "Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels [a] of liquid myrrh, half as much (that is, 250 shekels) of fragrant cinnamon, 250 shekels of fragrant cane, 24 500 shekels of cassia—all according to the sanctuary shekel—and a hin of olive oil. 25 Make these into a sacred anointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer. It will be the sacred anointing oil. 26 Then use it to anoint the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the Testimony, 27 the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense, 28 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand. 29 You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy. (Exodus 30:22-29) At first glance the above passage doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the subject at hand. The relevance lies in the fact that some argue that the “fragrant cane” found in verse 23 is actually a mistranslation of the original Hebrew text. The actual Hebrew translated into English looks like this “qanenbosm” or Cannabis. The things that were being anointed with this oil were the most Holy of Holy instruments in the Israelites temple. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1321449 United States 03/31/2011 12:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | nope stand corrected either calamus r pot I found this is the source of this info Born in Poland, Benet was fascinated with peasant culture of Poland since her early youth. This interest eventually led her to enroll as a student of literature and philosophy in the Faculty of Humanities in the University of Warsaw but graduated with a degree in anthropology. Upon receiving her degree in 1935, she attended graduate school at Columbia University, where she received her doctorate in 1944. Benet's writings have gained modern notability for her interpretations of the herb known as kaneh-bosm or kneh-bosm mentioned in the Old Testament and how it relates to the religious use of cannabis. Kaneh-bosm is mentioned in the Old Testament as part of the holy anointing oil used in the temple and has been interpreted since King James to be calamus (an herb that is known in North American shamanism and in vedic atharva and has been discovered in modern times to contain a molecule known as Asarone that is a precursor of trimethoxyamphetamine, a psychedelic). Through comparative etymology, analysis of ancient texts (including pre-Hebrew Semitic language), and pharmacological consistencies she contends that the word kaneh-bosm actually refers to cannabis and was used in ancient Jewish religious rites, as a medicine and ritual sacrament. Benet's work is an example that cannabis use has a long culturally important history, and that the criminalization and demonization of cannabis is a recent invention (an occurrence of the previous century compared to Torah: dating back at least 3,000 years). While Benet's conclusion regarding the psychoactive use of cannabis is not universally recognized among Jewish scholars, there is general agreement that cannabis is used in talmudic sources to refer to hemp fibers, as hemp was a vital commodity before linen replaced it.[1] Because of Benet's research, it is now confirmed that cannabis appears in ancient Hebrew texts spelled with the Hebrew letters: קְנֵה-בֹשֶׂם “Qof, Nun, He, Bet, Shin, Mem” translated into western alphabetic forms as ¹aneh-bosm, kaneh-bosm or kineboisin. The book of Exodus records the event of Moses receiving the instructions for making and distributing the hemp enriched holy oil, in the most auspicious tones. Then the Lord said to Moses, "Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels of liquid myrrh, half as much of fragrant cinnamon, 250 shekels of qaneh-bosm, 500 shekels of cassia--all according to the sanctuary shekel--and a hind of olive oil. Make these into a sacred anointing oil” (Exodus 30: 22-33). The translation error was repeated in Song of Songs 4:14, Isaiah 43:24, Jeremiah 6:20, and Ezekiel 27:19, where kaneh/kaneh bosm are translated as calamus, sweet or fragrant cane. [2] [3] In 1980 the Hebrew University in Israel confirmed Sula Benet's interpretation of Kaneh Bosm (kineboisin) as hemp blossoms.[4] However, the words 'Kaneh bosm' are not in the KJV or the new international version of the bible. This is because the translators from the original language determined that "Kaneh bosm" should be interpreted as "Calamus" and other similar sounding plants. |
