Worse things happen in politics every day. The real events or reason for the military action in Lybia is important. Not if a president can bribe or convince congress with twists, promises and whishful thinking. |

That is pretty normal for all presidents you and I have known in our lives. |

The people of America aren't going to rise up against the government until it affects the populace as a whole directly with extreme consequence. America has gotten lazy. Those that rise up and protest are ignored. Peaceful protest has gotten us no where. Violent protests are small and severely looked down upon and criticized. So until tshtf the government will do as it pleases, despite what the constitution or populace says. I'm pretty sure more than just that constitutional law (the one pointed out by the OP)was broken throughout the years without people realizing. Our government is out of control. I'm just waiting for all hell to break loose on american soil. I'd like to see how the government responds to an uprising. |

Obama passed the point of treason a long time ago. This is just another item to add to the articles of impeachment that the congress wont have the balls to even bring up. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

Only republikan Presidents are allowed to use the military? Congress never declared war on Iraq or Vietnam. Grenada, ronald reagan's "finest hour"? Poppy Bush and Panama, where 2000 civilians were killed? I'll tell you who REALLY committed treason: bush & cheney. See Plame, Valerie. |

You don't realize do you? Not only does this give the American people an "Easy Win" to gain more support to the falling numbers of the other two wars, but it also gives free advertisement for our weapons industry. This will generate 5000 jobs to create more weapons in which will also allow for the budget to remain hidden by using subcontractors. There will be a 5 year contract and there will be at least 17 nations wanting to buy the weapons we are using. If congress wasn't for it, McCain would NOT support it. Think about it silly. I hate to say that such information held for "National Security" is really true, but you don't have any idea how close we are from becoming completely out of the pecking order. There is going to be a tax-cut because of this semi-war. At least, if they were smart enough to realize they would approve a tax cut. Next year they will also give most people a $450 stimulus. This will be overly advertised and widely known. It will come in check form only. It's a psychological thing. Again, if they were smart enough, they will do this. |

Quoting: ResisterSo Clinton should have been impeached and now Obama. And I did never hear it for Bush, but he was the most open in is discontempt for any laws that restricted him from getting the terrrrorrrissss. How Powel, Cheney and Rumsfled lied in congres and the world stage was unprecedented, at least for me. This impeachment thing now sounds just like impeaching just for wanting to impeach, cos that's what republicans do. Anything so they can act important and not their dreaded enemy, the democrats. It is a bit sad. Impeach at the right time the right people. That would have been before any of the wars, and then the ones who deceived all and totally mocked the constitution. That would be the neocons. But you all wanted to go, unconstitutionally, into a country that did not pose a threat or attacked America. Impeach you! |

OP, you really don't give a shit about treason, you've just been watching Fox News and they've got your head spinning around so much you need an exorcist. You're a dupe. Go back and shove a few more pins in your Obama voodoo doll. |
