it wasnt made to and it probably wont.
Iodine is a gas at that temp and will probably pass over with steam condensing into solution in the cooling phase.
If your worried about I131 just store it for a month and it will be gone.

It will take out the cesium, strontium, and plutonium. But the iodine will move over with the water.Get a PUR pitcher it should take care of the iodine(PUR is much better,a little slower but better than Britta).

If I use a charcoal filter for the distillate it should work just fine, eh? I do want to survive long enough to see government maggots being hanged by their necks...

Bacteria can't survive in distilled water because it is so pure...osmosis kills them....so what the FUCK are you babbling about? I have 5-year-old distilled water that tastes as fresh as the day it was distilled.

So let's see...stock market prices/values(meaningless) - expected electric bills payed by millions of Japanese paying for nothing but nuclear heat (generated energy that couldn't be controlled)= Incredible debt and incredible DEATH and SUFFERING.....BEEP! YOU LOSE

Tou don't know do you?.. Elements become radioactive. Fresh water it the least radioactive. Salt water can have radioactive salt. Ect.

Distilling water with minerals and ending up with water with minerals....that would be like the US cia selling Afghanistan opium and addicts ending up buying and injecting heroin into their veins.
