It's all about the bottom line and as long as it appears like their GDP is growing then their resources will still look good for western investors. Its all a game for them and they don't care about the people at all. China's economy is totally built around western demand for the products they create. If western demand drops off, and their artificially inflated economy bursts they'll be left with nothing. The majority of Chinese citizens live in poverty and there isn't enough room for advancement in their economy to allow a comfortable, home buying middle class to grow. The poor don't have the money to move into a city and the rich only buy for property investments. You need a middle class who can move in and will have money to spend in the local economy, otherwise you're just building empty houses that no one will move in to. The idea that you have to pay off a $300,000 home in 3 years with 50% down will ensure that only the rich can afford to buy the properties but will dump their investments when there is no return. Demand needs to grow for property values to grow but that will only happen if there is a reason, a desire, to move into a certain location and the availability of economic resources to allow someone who makes $12,000 a year to buy a home. |

Quoting: jigathey are not stupid or wasteful imo this is either proof they are waiting for the shift (where they are building them fits well with that) the other is that its for the aftermath of WW3 'Whence do you come, slayer of men, or where are you going, conqueror of space?' The soul answered and said, 'What binds me has been slain, and what surrounds me has been overcome, and my desire has been ended, and ignorance has died. In a [world] I was released from a world, [and] in a type from a heavenly type, and (from) the fetter of oblivion which is transient. From this time on will I attain to the rest of the time, of the season, of the aeon, in silence.' |
