I saw this movie yesterday and the connection it did between god of war ascension and riddick assault on dark athena was breathless.

"This story opens with the new action hero and the two other survivors of Pitch Black already caught by a giant spaceship(dark athena/fury/medusa/moon) filled with dread. The sinewy leader has a unique--and creepy--jail for master villains and she has her sights set on Riddick. And Jack as they cross paths with a ship of body hunters and are brought on board. The captain of the ship, Chillingsworth(Freiza) has an interesting hobby - she captures wanted criminals and makes living statues of them."

Riddick and his two companions, Jack and Imam are captured by a crew of bounty hunters of the vessel "Kublah-Khan"(Kub/CUBE!!!) commanded by a imperial woman named Antonia Chillingsworth and her chief henchman Junner. Riddick discovers Chillingsworth has her own museum on-board and she collects(PANDORA'S BOX/CUBE, THE COLLECTOR!!!) the galaxy's most-wanted criminals and instead of delivering them to penal colonies and claiming the bounty, Chillingsworth/Athena/Medusa turns them into living statues and Riddick has become the latest addition to her collection(See also movie "the collection")."

What blew me away in the above movie was that it was identical to the game riddick dark athena/medusa and that athena is also called fury!
This reminded me the spider fury of the new gow ascension game where she was wearing identical mask chillingsworth/freiza/medusa was wearing under her white cape!

See in above trailer the black fury mask she puts away at 1:25!
There is also a ton of religious symbolism where when you connect the game dark athena with the anime dark fury you realize that she symbolizes goddess athena!
No wonder why kratos in gow got so fucked in ascension hahaha and funny thing that lunar spider/fury she had in front of him torturing him was athena herself hahaha!

Pay attention to her head what a clever snakes/medusa head symbolism!

She was also dressed just like Judith/Jedai/sentai/M(medusa) in skyfall/Aereon=One Are(s)/Era/RA from the chronicles of riddick movie.
Now you should have realized how far more dangerous a wolf in sheep's clothing is!

Riddick our hero also symbolizes medusa, we have exposed that many times before but it gets encoded in dark fury too!

-There is a man inside this vessel(moon)
who is something far worse...
than anyone here
has ever encountered.
Should you survive this day,
it is one you will remember
for the rest of your lives.

I came across an upcoming movie called "sparks" with storyline
"A masked vigilante who discovers the dark side to heroism. Going after the nation's most notorious super criminal leaves Sparks' life and reputation in ruins."

And it put me thinking what they will dare to show in that movie. Hope they drop an amazing line like in the book of eli where the mafia boss told to our face the kind of deadly weapon the bible is.

Next in dark fury some very interesting dialogues.

-It is a plantation operation.(Remind me of matrix where they told to our face that they cultivate us! and oops that was taking place in the real world not in the dreamworld/lunar computerworld)
A boat like this loads up at port,
signs on as many men as it can hold,(signs on? hahaha see movie lifeforce 1985 steals and robs the fuck out of a planet's resources and its people's souls!)
then goes out for months,
sometimes years at a time.
However long it takes
to fill their stories.(this reminded me plutarch story that medusa is feeding also on our memories/intel which makes her smarter/wiser, see also john dies at the end, i'll talk more about that movie later)
-Except a merchant rig's
usually harvesting ore,(rapes planets from its resources, see also planetcrackers from deadspace)
maybe crops, not people.(people when they die are called corpses hahaha cause then their egg is about to hatch like it was said and shown to our face in john dies at the end and when their ego/egg+efalos/brain hatches then it's harvesting time/grim reaper goes to work, to harvest the corpse... cough meant crops hahaha.)
-Captured bounties on one side,
contracted manpower on the other.
-Just add heat.(what a clever soul oven symbolism they threw here, see also transformers war for cubertron and how the decepticons were converting the autobots to decepticons, just add heat hahaha!)

signs on to this.(hahaha sex trap symbolism! this is how kratos got caught in ascension too pay attention when fury/athena tells him "you seem confused/erased kratos, already forgot the good time we had together?")

In above dialogue they also showed that lunar ship to be like a bee hive stackloaded on people(symbolism of souls too) sleeping frozen in containers identical to saber rider, lockout, matrix, cabin in the woods etc etc.

-You go through all the trouble
to catch these guys,
and this is what
you do with them.
-You're missing the point.

(i geuss riddick has no idea about soul batteries and human brain processors for the hive mind/shodan/medusa/lunar computer AI/deus ex machina.)

Each one sustained
in a form of cryo so profound...
that seconds seem weeks...(hahaha it reminded me ma-ma's slow mo drug from dredd movie, its mind blowing how flawlessly all draconian movies and games connect!)
and to blink an eye is a day's work.
The brain, however,
continues to function unimpeded.
The mind continues
to think and feel,
swarming(being part of the swarm/hive mind) with whatever dark thoughts
it's trapped alone with,
as it will be for hundreds of years.(she's harvesting their brain power dollhouse style!!!, the fear/nightmares she puts their brain through was revealed in dollhouse that it makes the brain run at maximum speed)
So much more fitting a fate than
dropping them off at the nearest slam.
Here, they are appreciated
for what they truly are,
transformed into objects(processors)
on par with their lives’ work.

Its amazing how royally she screws them and how beautiful she tries to make it look, thats some amazing selling tactics right there man! similar to the rfid and a new robotic era for humanity commercials.


-When we meet again,
I'm gonna bury this in your eye.
(we have one eye symbolism here and it also reminded me in dead space 2 when isaac's girlfriend lost one of her eye she symbolized medusa too so at the end isaac had a very good reason to worry that same ending he's gonna get similar to dead space 1 hahaha.)

When it does,
make for the flight deck

(This reminded me the biblical story with lot's wife where she was turned to stone by yahweh/medusa when she looked back, "no man can see my face and live" women included! hahaha.)

The most hilarious part of this anime was at the credits.
