The only possible meaning you can have by using ´reactive´ is the TRUTH!

But, no one wants to hear the truth anymore do they? Everything´s supposed to be all ´lovey dovey´....but that´s not how the REAL world works, the sooner we all realize that the better we´ll be because instead of buying the latest and greatest technological gadget we´ll instead start preparing for the worst.

Whatever definition you want to use for the word Utopia it for sure isn´t the US today!
