As for being an atheist, I'm not by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, I had an NDE in April of 2004. My own perception is that God is the most natural and true presence in the life of every creature, including the "atheist" who you claim will go to hell.

However, that doesn't keep religion (particularly western) from being a poisonous lie, in fact it advances this theory. God is home, there is no hell, there is no heaven...

And belief is a prison.

Islam and Christianity start from about the same place and split at Isaac and Ishmael. Same GOD at one time. That makes up 54% of the worlds population. Thats not counting the Jews who also have the same GOD. 16% are non believers and the balance is whatever. I can see where you are coming from. But with chain letters there is a selfish fear that blackmails you into obeyance.
With a non-literal interpretation of the Bible(at least) there is no fear for all is God or Good. By understanding that
God is energy, that there is no separation, then all acts are within accordance with Gods will.
The chain-letter is a device dreamt up by bored but creative individuals that have seen too many horror flicks. They operate on fear and want of the reader. Base emotions. Whereas true spirituality wants for nothing, fears nothing.
