the REAL problem in this world is overpopulation which drains many different aspects on other peoples lives, then I believe second in line behind overpopulation is inequality. Both inequality and overpopulation can be easily fixed, but the elites in control have no interest in fixing them; therefore, the only way to fix them is to overthrow the elites.

Everyone likes to speak of 'The Real Problem' as if, there's only one. LOL.

However tonight I'll offer one solution, to a real problem, that's the 2nd American Depression.

So far there's been no visible will to reverse the deliberate & engineered collapse. If the will & desire existed it could be reversed & rather quickly by first reinstating the Stock Transfer Tax.

The United States had a transfer tax from 1914 to 1966. The Revenue Act of 1914 levied a 0.2 percent tax on all sales and transfers of stock. In 1932, Congress more than doubled the tax to help financial recovery and job creation during the Great Depression.

All of those problems you mention truly stem in my opinion from the elites. The elites control EVERYTHING. I agree with your problems though. They are very serious problems that need to be dealt with. They are easy to fix as well if people were held accountable and people actually gave a fuck about improving this world and humanity as a whole.

My God you are an idiot. 100 years ago was 1911. It was know as the era of the Robber Barrons when people worked up to 16 hours a day six days a week in miserable conditions.

In fact, we just passed the 100 year anniversary of the Shirtwaist Factory fire where 146 people died in a sweatshop. The youngest were 2 14 year old girls.

If you support a system like that, you are a sick individual.

also interesting that prior to the credit boom created by the fed from 1913-1929, existing businesses in the US tended to grow organically, i.e. reinvesting their profits as they went along, rather than growing by using credit/debt to fund the growth. and that during the ~200 years of the gold standard there was no inflation.

"It is impossible to grasp the meaning of the idea of sound money if one does not realize that it was devised as an instrument for the protection of civil liberties against despotic inroads on the part of governments. Ideologically it belongs in the same class with political constitutions and bills of rights. The demand for constitutional guarantees and for bills of rights was a reaction against arbitrary rule and the non-observance of old customs by kings." Ludwig von Mises

i'm all for the occupy movement, especially if they correctly ID the perpetrators of the crime against humanity that is fiat money, the private companies aka central banks.

You honestly think it's any different now? Child labor? still happens. miserable work conditions? still happens. 16 hour + work days? still happens. The only difference is that we use illegal immigrants, and outsource the crappy jobs to other countries where child labor laws aren't enforced/don't exist. Every time you take a bite of a chocolate bar or take a sip of coffee you're supporting that very same system. Not that you care. Out of sight, out of mind huh?

You are confusing technological advances that of coarse would have made all our lives easier with taxes. You honestly think that all those taxes set you free? Give you more freedom? No, it's slavery. What is the difference between working all day for a robber baron, and working all day for the government? Half your life is spent working for the government, and that is a conservative estimate.

So an equalized money comparison would be about 30X as much, so in 1900, about 64.1 Billion in our current currency.

Yes and about 1/2 of the tax the federal govt DID get was from high taxes on liquor/beer/wine.
In the run up to prohibition those taxes had to be replaced and that was done with income taxes.

There must be a return to a Gold, or Bi-Metallic, Standard, with a massive revaluation of the PMs, in "dollar" terms (for those chumps who say that there is not enough gold and silver to support a metal-backed currency standard).

Or we are all doomed.
