Dino1 12/08/2005 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I agree with Pat in that if Chavez monkeys with the gas flow we should go in very aggressively and secure the oil and then dispose of Chavez. Just about the economics. I would say I am a bit curious that any religious leader would say this though. His comment gives Christians a bad name in the same way extremist Muslisms give Islam a bad name. |

Dino1 12/08/2005 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I didnīt say we have a right to do this. The bottom line is we get a lot of gas from Venezuela. The shutting of this supply will greatly hurt our economy. The idea is to secure the fields, but pay the next government. Chavez is not a man of the people. He is a dictator. So hubris - no. Just pragmatism. |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Chavez is engaged in the destabilization of great swaths of South America and is going to cause great problems in that area of the world unless he is removed from power. Why wait until he turns Venzuela into another socialist paradise like Cuba? |

Dino1 12/08/2005 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | clay -I agree Bush is very dicatorial. Again, my interest is in what is best for the US economy. Very expensive oil will lead to a recession and extremly expensive oil will lead to a depression that will spread globally. I doubt many Americans will care about Chavez being disposed of if he cuts off the oil supply and gas goes to $6 per gallon. |

A/C 12/08/2005 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What made Chavez decide to stop selling oil to the US? There must be a reason. And, what on earth is going on with Pat Robertson? Isnīt he supposed to be preaching the Gospel? Arenīt Christians supposed to be in the world but not of the world? Isnīt a Christianīs kingdom supposed to be not of this world? So, why is Pat Robertson so concerned about worldly things and worldly politics to the point of even condoning assassination? According to the article Pat Robertson called Chavez a threat to US security. How exactly is Venezuela a threat to US security? I assume as usual this is all about oil. Oil=money and power. So, is Pat Robertson saying itīs OK to kill a man in order to acquire more money and power? He is also quoted as saying assassinating Chavez would be "a whole lot cheaper than starting a war." So, this is all about money? Money=Mammon. We cannot serve both God and mammon. |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "Who takes his place? Is this the Anti C?" That statement sure makes Pat out to be more important that he deserves OR is...Pffft. Maybe its time for Billy Grahams not so politically correct son to take his place? Dangerous psychotics the lot of them. |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wake up. Robertson is nothing but a piece of filthy, vile shit, building an empire out of conning little old ladies out of their lifeīs earnings with his retarded shows. Heīs no different than the garbage priests promising salvation to individuals confessing their sins to the priests. These smiling animals with the 200 dollar haircuts are laughing at people as they trim their nails and memorize their lines before their shows. Theyīre scum. Heīs an instrument of the government propaganda machine, like everything else on television. |
