knowledge is only the beginning. You are a pawn and you finally see the king but if you rush in all aggro, pawns go down easy and they are expendable. So what you have to do is be smart and learn how to play the game strategically and think a few moves ahead.

When you get real advanced you might realize the king is just a piece on the gameboard too.

I think the real solution is to stop playing their game. Start playing a different game and ignore the chess game. Go your own way. The current elite are just terrible at ruling and they get tyrannical when it looks like people might stop playing with them anymore. In time society will just ridicule and ignore them until they fade away. Just like the nazis were eventually defeated and stood trial, these current nazis will face the music too. The balance is being pushed too far to one side and will correct itself eventually. An unbalanced society cannot stand.
