ahh shite. Mistaking worst for worse exceeds my greatest nightmare.

I really pray you are wrong. But it's definitely going to be worse than Chernobyl (let's face it - it already is, whether TEPCO is ready to admit it or not) and I can't see how Tokyo isn't eventually going to need to be evacuated. That water supply contamination isn't going to get better any decade soon.

In the states, our real worry is going to be soil and groundwater contamination in California. If California agriculture is screwed by this, our country (and a lot of the world) is going to be in chaos. Where the hell are we all going to get our food?
