Someone or something had to direct these civilizations to give sacrafices, I mean different civilizations from different parts of the world were doing it, it had to come from a higher source to giude them into doing it. I wonder what happened to the bodies of the sacrificed people? What were this bodies being used for? I mean it's like hey you give me some of your people and I will let you grow food and have good crops and I won't destroy you and I will come back once a year. I think that is how it went by reading some of the information like the Aztecs for example.
