Hi OP, sorry the athiests are being nuts. I read an interesting book that told about the even when Jesus spoke through this prophet guy, and said stuff about the end is near, and that believers should not talk to the nonbelievers, I think it was because they can taint faith or confuse or spark uneeded anger.

Point is again... nobody knows. we have beliefs, and each one is as good as the next when it comes to the spiritual side of life.

A person that believes in their form of religion have faith. and faith is not based on logic, or proven fact, but in the belief that God exists. It's a hunch.

Calling someone stupid for not having the same belief as your own is decidely a "non-christian" response.

Not-theist. a, not, and theos, God. The disbelief in the existence of a God or Supreme Being.

Nothing too complicated here dude. Many things can be debunked. Religion falls easily in this category. However, that has nothing to do with automatically believing in evolution, big bang etc... It just means the rejection of what human beings have invented in the form of God or gods.

More so, if consciousness can exist within your own mind as electrical currents, why can't consciousness exist universally as God? If we agree to this, then if your consciousness can affect events in your life why can't the universal consciousness affect events in the universe? More so, if energy never dies and consciousness is energy, why would we believe consciousness will die with the mortal body?

What I quoted was from the new testament, not the old testament. the torah, which is a holy book to jews, has five books of the old testament in it. jews do not believe that jesus was the son of god and they do not recognize the new testament.

the old and new testaments are "agreements". the old testament bound jews, and the new testament bound christians. the term "christian" means follower of Christ as in Jesus Christ.

it's unfortunate but a HUGE amount of self-professed christians have never studied the new testament. They are ignorant of what they -think- they believe in.
