I just got my Lugol's from Australia. I am going to start adding it to my daily regimin. I will let you know what happens. I did not do an idodine urine level first, I'm just winging it.

Hi, it took 2-3 weeks. I'm doing 8 drops, if my calculations are correct, one drop contains 6.5 mg of Iodine, a 50 ml bottle has about 1000 drops. Dr. Brownstein recommends 50-100mg/day. I'm only doing 50 mg/day so thats 8 drops (they send two plastic droppers with the package (at least mine did). I got it from Stride into Health and it was $30.25, US dollars. I paid through paypal.

Interestingly, I started by buying some iodine tincture at the local drugstore but took it back because when I read the ingredients, it had alcohol (not that unusual) but also AMONIA!!!! I thought, what the hell is amonia doing in the iodine, you're going to put that on a wound? Also, betadine has been discussed here and many may not know that you can buy (or used to be able to) large bottles of Massengill "Wash". You can find it in the feminine hygiene product area. It is used with a disposal douch applicator for certain vaginal infections. It is not to be ingested internally though, so don't go mixing it with water, have to stick to iodine for that.

I've heard that too much iodine is bad for the thyroid, it can cause hypothyroid in high doses.. The entire medical community is a money making scam.. You are the only one that can heal you or destroy you, the medical community could care less if you live or die. The evil doctors just want to push their anti-depressant drugs on you because they get kickbacks from the drug companies. It's all about $$$$. I think hospitals kill more people than they save...if you've ever been in a hospital you know they cause sleep deprivation, lack of sleep is the worst thing for a sick person. NOBODY sleeps in the hospital, they are taking bloods/vitals every 12 minutes.

Sure, take iodine in safe amounts, just like you should take every other mineral and vitamin. A good multi-vitamin should have you all the iodine you need. You don't need to drown yourself in it. No where in the natural world would you consume that much iodine like the recommended dosages seen in the internet.

iodine IS useful biologically, but best to get it from foods sources, not industrial waste products. (really people, start reading on where shit comes from - very interesting) I actually use non iodine added sea salt. sea Salt naturally contains iodine so that is enough for me.

Ok so I have been taking Iosol for a couple months now. Only 1 drop which is 1830mcg's. Been trying to figure out the correct dose as many of the reviews say people taking 5-10 drops a day. I started taking 4 drops a day and now feel like it's hard to get up in the morning, like I could just sleep all day. also my skin was clear and now getting a few pimples. I'm guessing this is a detox thing as I have abused my system with pop and crap for many years, hello flouride! Any input appreciated, this is a great post to keep active!

I agree...now. I fell for the scam. After buying iodine, and it wasn't cheap... it made me so soar. I could hardly walk or move my arms. My neck, head all the way to my toes were so soar......... I only took it for a few days. I no longer take it! I am going to God.

This might be one of the best sources of iodine info I have ever come across. Ill tell you something amazing : Since I started taking Iodine ( 2-3 drops in food) my psychic ability (Pre-monitions) have greatly increased; I can sense when something is about to happen and I AM ABLE TO ACT ON IT as well !!!!
