Why isn't boron being added to the water that is being pumped / dropped / shot in?

I think that is the issue, no one would willingly go near these reactors. Any cleanup workers would be voluntary. TEPCO is not the Russian Army, they can't just force their reserves to work a few minutes at a time until they receive a lifetime dose of radiation. I don't know where TEPCO will find 600,000 workers to clean up FOUR reactors and construct a containment structure. Japan has neither the infrastructure or natural resources to win this battle.

Remember, they're not just dealing with Uranium radiation, but radioactive PLUTONIUM, the deadliest atom on the planet..

They either have no Boron, or they don't want to use anything that will destroy all of their precious Plutonium. TEPCO is clearly interested in salvaging some of the fuel rods to move to their other reactors and/or to continue Japanese nuclear weapons development.

No No. The boron they tried to "dump" onto the reactors missed the mark, Adn so, the measures were ineffective.

Re: NEW Fairewinds VIDEO: Newly released TEPCO data provides evidence of periodic chain reaction at Fukushima Unit 1
How are high levels of radioactive water getting out of the Fukushima 1, 2, and 3 Containment Buildings?

Fairewinds believes that even if the nuclear reactors have not melted down, radioactively contaminated water is leaking out of the reactors and containment buildings.

In the adjacent diagram, you will be able to follow a path as Fairewinds describes how highly radioactive water may be leaking directly into the environment.

That depends on distance. If someone shoots a bullet made of plutonium at you from 2 feet away - your dead. From the other side of the planet/southern hemi well ...

We think On the Beach was just fiction. Just an old movie nobody remembers.

But it seems more plausible now.

The answer is ... I don't know exactly, nobody does.

One micro gram of plutonium will kill a human.

There's 1 000 000 micro gram in a gram.

There's 1000 gram to the Kg.

There's 1000 Kg to the ton.

And you know how much tons of plutonium there is at those Japanese nuclear power plants... more than one ton

Gunderson is truly full of shit.

His conjecture re. the fuel crane lying on the assemblies in the pool is easily debunkable.

Re: NEW Fairewinds VIDEO: Newly released TEPCO data provides evidence of periodic chain reaction at Fukushima Unit 1
how long is.....There are 55 known isotopes and nuclear isomers of tellurium (Te) with atomic masses that range from 105 to 142. These are listed in the table below.

Naturally-occurring tellurium on Earth consists of eight isotopes. Two of these are observed to be radioactive: 128Te and 130Te undergo double beta decay. The isotope 128Te has the longest measured half-life of all radionuclides: 2.2×1024 years (approx. 2.2 septillion years). (Many isotopes are expected to have longer half-lives, but these half lives are only estimated).

SEPTILLION?
