Every day, the news is more like a bad joke than anything else, and this fits the profile of absurdity... guess people are too freaked out by everything else to run these oil guys off the planet for good.

The people who run corporate America (and our political leaders) aren't stupid. They know how much of the envelope they can push and get away with, and it's a lot; after the past 2 years they can obviously get away with just about anything.
