Health Canada suspends mobile radiation surveys 'until further notice'. Why now?

"Canada has tightened its controls on Japanese imports to include all food and animal feed products from areas affected by Japan's ongoing nuclear crisis.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said as of Friday that it requires documentation proving the safety of food and feed products before it will allow them into Canada.

The federal agency has also begun testing radiation levels of Japanese products, it said.

Last week, Canada said it required documents verifying the safety of milk, fruit and vegetables from four Japanese prefectures. Other countries also have imposed restrictions, and Russia's food safety body said on Friday it may ban seafood from areas near the Fukushima nuclear plant.

The Japanese areas affected by Canada's import controls are Fukushima, Gunma, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Miyagi, Yamagata, Niigata, Nagano, Yamanashi, Saitama, Tokyo and Chiba.

Above-safety radiation levels have been discovered in some types of vegetables from the Fukushima area in northeast Japan, where a six-reactor nuclear plant was battered by a March 11 earthquake and tsunami, the Japanese government has said. Japan has stopped shipments of vegetables and milk from near the plant.

And to add some conspiracy doomage to this, the Health Canada chickie in charge of this sort of thing, vaccinations etc, is Dr Karen Dodds, Assistant Deputy Minister of Health Canada, Strategic Policy Branch, and is ALSO on the Executive Board of the W.H.O. until 2012...

Seems that all the governments now have this disease of being out of reach from the people & therefore not accountable to the people. They have forgotten who pays their wages, that is until there is a new election. Then they come out of the shadows and are all smiles & filled with false promises.

The only way to deal with this is to not vote in this election and bring them back down to reality.

I bet this radiation event falls under the W.H.O. G.L.E.W.S. agreement.
All member countries are legally bound to not give press releases until they are given the go ahead by W.H.O.

I believe that is what stopped the C.D.C. from releasing the causal agent of Morgellons Disease.

What about using Betadine as a iodine source? We are sold out of KI here in Alberta. I did buy some kelp and dulse. It is hard to find ways for my young kids to take it though as they won't swallow pills and hate the taste of it.

My local vet supply sells Betadine and I was thinking of buying some to try. I am just concerned whether it is safe or not to use on kids.

My kids don't eat much dairy either but I stocked up on some rice milk and almond milk. I will keep them away from dairy now too.

It's a bit off topic but I would observe that they know perfectly well who really pays their wages, or causes them to be paid. And no it's not us.

According to Wikipedia, Betadine is a brandname of povidone iodine which I asked about earlier, so I'm watching for the answer too. We have that stuff at home here.

Powdered milk has to tendency to go rancid.

I stocked up on it too. I keep mine in glass jars in the freezer. It will keep for years that way, as long as the power stays on...

The one and only one study done said stick the forefinger in up to the first knuckle only, daily (same time each day). That was for a 7% solution. A 10% solution could probably be adjusted for by using the little finger vs the forefinger.

I know of no other follow up studies. The one reported study is on the KI4U.com website about 3/4 of the way down on their LONG opening page.

Powdered milk is probably OK since it was made BEFORE the current situation (if you buy it NOW!). Ditto the current stocks of evaporated milk.

I HATE the taste of powdered milk, but one can of evaporated milk mixed in per quart does wonders for improving it's taste.

I presume you are buying your powdered milk from the southern hemisphere...

I am using ordinary medicinal iodine. Criss crossed on the skin every day. If I131 is about, ANY remedial action to protect the thyroid should be taken 16 hrs before exposure to be 100% effective. It is only 50% effective if it is taken at the time of exposure, and only 2% effective if taken two days after exposure.
