Forgive me: If you have no interest in how the change in Obama's appearance takes place on an all-too regular basis, then just skip this long post. If you want to know some of the details, then read onward. The surgical changes I describe below are things I've personally seen done when I managed a hospital that owned various out-patient (and terribly private) surgical centers in both NYC and LA. I've witnessed some of this surgical magic applied to both very famous faces and some who were not so famous.

The patients who struck me as "odd" were those who's surgical fees were paid for in cash by various "handlers" who were awfully fond of non-descript dark gray or black suits and sometimes had those tell-tale little ear pieces in place. Often times the patients they would bring in were obviously people who, you knew in an instant, had neither the financial nor social background to have allowed them to seek out and undergo these surgical procedures on their own!

When the patient is a major celeb, or a young heiress who's worth hundreds of millions, it's easy to figure out how they can pay for this and how they can afford the extended recovery and time off and out of the public eye while they heal from the surgery. But there are patients who simply do not fit the profile and their 'handlers' make the arrangements, pay the bills, and care for the patients (with nurses of course) round the clock, afterwards.

The cost of such aftercare can run to thirty or forty thousand dollars for round-the-clock nursing care for three or four weeks, alone. And that's just the tip of the iceberg that is provided somehow and paid for without any way to trace the payments. When the "odd" patient's local address is a suite at a five-star hotel - and the patient and their team of handlers and nurses and unexplained "others" camp out there at the hotel for five or six weeks afterwards - someone is paying for this. The hotel manager may privately confirm that the hotel received a large cashier's check along with the request for Counting out cash payments and then no receipt being asked for or desired - and/or wire transfers that come in without any id as to where they've originated (and only the patient's false name to indicate where it was to be applied) are pretty clear indication of someone at a very high level in our society going to extraordinary lengths to preserve their "privacy" for whatever reasons you may care to ascribe to them!

Some of the "Obama" scars are in the places that you would expect to see scars if someone had undergone major maxilo-facial surgery to re-triangulate the facial bone structure.

Usually, this surgery is done to fix a bad bite and an odd looking or poorly occluding jaw. However, there is another phase or two of this surgical speciality that is not often talked about - but is done with surprising frequency on Hollywood celebs. This type of surgery allows one to change their facial bone structure in ways that are not possible with mere soft-tissue surgery we commonly think of as plastic surgery.

Among the young Hollywood set - when fame is at their doorstep, the few who have undergone this radical and major surgery have remained looking like themselves, but themselves perfected! There are "classic math formulas for beauty" - they have to do with the size of the various features and how they relate to each other. This surgery, done on a normal person, can give them classic proportions and classic facial beauty. The change may be subtle or they may be dramatic. But the difference is not always something you can spot. The gossips may guess that "Paris had another nose job" or "Brad had a chin implant" or "So&So had cheek implants" but that's not the whole truth! The whole truth is that under the care of expert surgeons, their face was literally peeled down from the forehead and the bones around the forehead, eyes, nose, and cheeks are broken, reset, and resized from their natural state to perfect classical proportions for beauty. The jaw and chin can be done from inside the mouth or under the chin and neck line - depending on the amount of surgery needed. The surgery can also move natural teeth around, and in one swoop, perfect the patient's bit, teeth, smile, etc., while at the same time making their major facial bones and features "perfect" in their size and relationship to each other.

A lot can be done with make-up and good lighting, heaven knows. But when you see these celebs suddenly out of the public eye for a few months and then they return looking better than they ever looked before - now you know how it was probably done. The cost? Depending on how much is required: it can range from a low of maybe forty- fifty thousand for a full mouth rebuild and the lower face being lightly triangulated - to a high of about $150 to $250k for the entire face, upper & lower jaw, forehead, eye sockets, nose and cheeks. The skin is often resurfaced and lifted or tightened as it's re-draped over the newly re-arranged bones and muscles, too. Think of getting an excellent tailor working on an older suit and making it fit to absolute perfection when it might not have done so before. Of course that's on top of the perfecting of the bone structure underlying the skin and muscles.

The healing from this surgery can take anywhere from 2 to 5 months. Much of the first weeks are spent with metal braces holding the bones in place and the jaw wired and immobilized while the teeth and jaw heal in their new position. The patient is fed thru straws and in serious cases, may require a feeding tube placed into the stomach where their requisite calories and nutrients are pumped in every night while they sleep. For most patients, they don't remember the first ten or fifteen days because of the heavy morphine doses required to keep them out of pain and allow them to sleep.

As the patient heals, the wires, braces, and sutures are removed over the first few weeks. The patient is then left swollen, bruised to the bone, and ugly as hell. At this point, most patients think they've ruined their face and become very depressed. Yet as the next few weeks pass, and the swelling and bruising subside, the bones knit back together and fully heal and seat into their new position - what emerges is a new version of themselves - but this version is perfect in it's bone structure. The skin is as near to perfection as the best surgeons and dermatologists can get it. And there is not a line or wrinkle in site. Patients usually look or appear to be much younger than they really are - especially for the first couple of years. If they are a huge celeb with an established career, their fans may well notice the difference and it's chalked up to diet and exercise and facelifts. As the first couple of years pass, the "new" perfected image becomes the accepted norm in the public's memory and the "original" version is forgotten except in old photos or films shot before the work was done. The "ideal" time to undergo this surgery is when the patient is in their early 30's and their career has begun but not lasted for decades at that point. Those who have gone thru it have not regretted it. One young (and now major celeb) quipped that he only wished that he could pass on the newly perfected bone structure to his children. Sadly, the changes cannot be inherited by future generations.

Most think it's well worth the cost and effort. Their faces seem almost ageless as the years go on. This is due to the underlying bones perfectly supporting the muscle and connective tissue, and providing that support in exactly the right places. By the time the patients have aged into their 60's or 70's, the patients may have undergone a facelift or two along the way to keep the skin tightened and not sagging, but even those are fairly "light weight" compared to a traditional facelift that has to go deep to repair what the bone surgery rebuilt long ago! As they age, they do so gracefully and very slowly! If they take care of their bodies and figures, work out and watch the diet and nutrition, they go into their 80's and 90's looking far better than most people look at 65 or 70.

The other benefit is that suddenly the actor or actress who's undergone this surgery does not need "corrective" make-up or lighting any longer. There are NO "bad" sides or angles any longer. No matter what angle their face is shot from, it looks good! The make-up people and cameramen love them! Makes their jobs a LOT easier! The next time you hear someone say "the camera loves Mr / Ms X" you can rest assured that their may be a hell of a major surgery investment as the reason for this newly-found love affair!

Some of the presidential "doubles" have undergone this surgery to make them look more like the original. On the right patient, with the best surgeons, a person who only looks vaguely like the President - they can wind up looking exactly like the original. Do the scars show? Not usually on a white or light skinned person. Some dark skinned people and especially those with Negroid Blood in them will form Keloid Scars which are thick, rope-like scars that are often bright pink or white and of course the contrast is absurd and requires skin stains and/or heavy make-up to cover! Some Keloids can be treated with various injections or lasered and can be improved over time. But some cannot be removed totally and must be dealt with using make-up and skin stains to cover the pigmentation difference.

The change of Obama from Gray to Black to brown hair is often as a result of temporary rinses, or comb-in hair color that is like paint or a coating that covers until it's wet and rinsed out. If one is photographed in the morning at a meeting with the rinse or temporary color in place, and they shower, wash their hair, and do not reapply the color before a dinner that evening, their natural color will be revealed and may well not match that seen in the morning session the same day! Their neglect of detail and continuity of appearances is, in my opinion just stupid and lazy. The handlers having no one worrying about the continuity of appearance for the leader of the free world, is a testament of how dumb they assume most of the population really is. They do assume most of us are too stupid to know the difference... and those who do know how it is done, already know their secrets and the vast majority of those don't really give a shit anyway!

Structual surgery to make look a likes is one thing, but how do they make the voice identical? Can't change that with surgery.

Manipulation of vocal cords is simple and can be done with such simple things as cigarettes, so you choose a deep-voiced tall skinny muslim-african looking man who already has the same character traits, do they facial surgery, then do proecdures to improve or produce results for voice modulation.

I would like to keep this thread going for these sorts of ideas to be discussed because the sleeping need to be alerted and it's hard to alert them without evidence. The reptilians before they were removed provided a lot of technologies.

Now as in above, the hologram has great use, it depends on what it is used for. One day we will send 3d movies to family members and friends for example, and it's a way to have a person give a speech who might be at risk. But it can also be used for deception against the people. And with TV they could have nothing but fake people on them, in one way or another.

I got your media trance, genius. Yeah, lip synching works sometimes in large arenas where the audience is way back from the stage (ie Milli Vanilli) but in a small room like the white house press conference room is a different story.

there was one from MSNBC I think, try you tube. I watched it on CNN live, the MSNBC was longer, CNN cut out after a few minutes. But the blue stuff on the flags behind him showed thru his hands for example when he raised them to his side and I saw also flags show thru his suit on a side shot. His face did not completely hold form all the time either, which initially got my attention. Then flags showing thru the hologram really got my attention. Before the Brazil speech it was put out on the net and I can't remember if on CNN that his life might be at risk and indeed it could be, if they were using one the several living versions.

Remember the speech Bush gave in new orleans after Katrina? With all the blue background outdoors at night? That was a huge test of the technology and it was not so perfect, because the eyes did not match, the right kept deviating. I was watching with a friend who lives in another state, and we were talking on the cell phone during it. We were both abhorred and laughing our heads off.
