Best bet for you guys and anyone for that matter, is to avoid it altogether. Get a meter, gloves, stuff for an outdoor shower, plants for indoors, food supply, car covers, etc. Get some KI and cut it into quarters. Try a quarter, then a half, then a whole one BEFORE a disaster so you can see how it works in a calm and controlled environment. |

In my Case I had Brights disease & had to have my Thyroid destroyed by abalation where I INGESTED radio-Iodine 131 (hows THAT for irony) & now take Synthryoid to keep up my t3 / t4 levels. Since I haven no thyroid left to absorb 131 what does that mean for me with all the elevated levels being recorded? |

I was wondering the same thing. i can't find anything online about it at all. I have hypothyroidism. If your thyroid gland is not working, then your thyroid gland won't take up radioactive iodine. You just have to worry about radioactive cesium, strontium, plutonium, uranium, etc. |

They tried to treat mine for like 5 yeras with meds but finally said the thyroid had to go. I should have had surgery. Also; Why does natural work better for you? I was thinking of switching Do you use Armour brand (Which I think is Pig thyroid) |
