Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1328397[link to bigjournalism.com] In another example of a sort-of cultural suicide where western media types assume that all Muslims are blameless – while all Americans are at fault in this clash of civilizations between Islamism and the West – we have a recent episode of MSNBC’s Hardball with one-time Democratic operative Chuck Todd standing-in for host Chris Matthews. He is right. Of course the Bible is written by man. That is clear as day. Watch these videos, this will explain the matter: |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1329625 United States 04/05/2011 11:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is what the word of man looks like: Ezekiel 9:6 "Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women . . . " Isaiah 13:16 "Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished." Deuteronomy 13:15 "Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly . . . " Leviticus 20:9 "For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death . . . " Exodus 32:27 ". . . Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour." Deut 21:10-12 "When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house, and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails; " Exodus 31:15 " . . . whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death." |

Basically, it is testimony. The Quran is only 600 years old. The Bible is 4000+. Lets see, I'll take the Bible. |

The Qur'an is not 600 years old by the way, it is more than 1400 years old. The Bible has much revelation in it, but it was altered, and much of it is simply the writing of men. Take Paul's books for example. Those are literally his written speeches. |

This is why your Koran mankes simple mistakes when making references to the Torah and bible. For example the Koran incorrectly gives the sir name of the prophet Jonah but claims the binle has it wrong. Mohammed has never made any prophetic messages that weren't exact they are all vague and can easily apply to numerous time lines. Further when the real Jesus returns all who have followed Islam will know the truth then and what shame toy will feel. A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. †. |

Further when the real Jesus returns all who have followed Islam will know the truth then and what shame toy will feel. The Qur'an had been memorized by thousands of people before it was formally written into a book during the rule of Uthman ibn Affan, a companion of Muhammad and it certainly wasn't 100 years after his death (Uthman was seven years Muhammad's junior). The Qur'an is an oral book, the writing of it was for documentation purposes. To this day millions of people have the Qur'an memorized by heart. The book is not even necessary. The Arabs had an oral culture, they had acute memory, the Qur'an was memorized on the spot as it was being revealed, over the course of 23 years. And yes, Jesus (peace be upon him) will return again, but he will tell people to stop worshipping him, and start worshiping the One who sent him. |
