I lived in Santa Clara county and fled on March 18th back to the east coast. I felt the radiation the day before I left while I was in Santa Cruz. I could taste something really strange in my mouth and got super dizzy and everything felt like a dream. That's when i decided to come back home to be with the family for a while. I know the radiation is everywhere in the US now, but its definitely wayyyyyy stronger on the west coast. I feel so horrible for everyone.

I can't believe those people wore suits like that just to test the water???!!!!!!???? I hope its fake, because if they are protecting themselves like that, there is something horribly wrong happening and we won't find out until it's too late.

Actually I live in the Central Valley California. We have two giant California oak trees on either side of our driveway. Each year at this time they drop tons of yellow pollen, turning our blacktop into yellow top.

California oaks are some of the dirtiest trees you will ever meet, they are constantly dropping leaves, twigs, pollen, or some other crap.

Not well suited for a yard.

My post is no joke. I live in Southeastern PA. Most of my family live within a 20 mile radius of three mile island. All of us, male and female have thyroid issues. I have the least issues but I moved away the same time as the TMI accident. Today my niece got the results from her bi-yearly thyroid levels bloodwork. She take synthroid daily. Regardless of daily medication, her thyroid level was at 7.0....extremely low. She has never come close to being this low ever. She describes herself as been a total lunatic over the past two weeks, she cannot concentrate, she is irritable and anxious...all typical thyroid symptoms. The symptoms had a sudden onset two weeks ago. Until then she felt everything per her thyroid was fine. We have had quite a bit of rain the past two weeks... spring is coming.

Radiation???

One more thing. My sister went for a walk this afternoon after a blowing rainstorm subsided. She is training for walking the applachain trail (she has a failed attempt two weeks ago, but it's your guess), so she walked a path along a stream in which rainwater runs into. She walks up no less than 4 miles a day, more normally, but today she was unable to make a half mile. She describes herself as feeling disoriented, dizzy, feeling like she was not getting enough oxygen and extreme onset of acute exhaustion. She talked about walking in small puddles of water as she followed a trail along a stream, as there was so much rainwater on the ground it was impossible to avoid. She returned home after the half mile and stayed inside for the remainder of the day and her symptoms have subsided but not entirely. She does not have the flu...she is a nurse and I have to believe she would know if she was sick.

I'm on the West Coast, roughly in the same region as the Santa Clara Valley (aka Silicon Valley), and I have been taking natural thyroid supplements since 3/12.

I have my usual spring allergy symptoms and a higher than usual level of anxiety.

That's all.

That being said I have KI pills in my preps if I need them (but I'm not taking them yet) and have stocked up on bottled water as much as space allows.

If radiation gets so high and/or persistent that this won't suffice, we're all f***ed anyway.

And it's kind of starting to look that way, isn't it... (sigh)
