The show must go on, if the US GOV gets it budgetary throat cut the shadow gov will still need it's spy satellites and weaponry launched and likely it's chemical lasers up there refilled.

You suspect the reason, $120 mil is not completive for a commercial sat, they get smaller and smaller. The micro and nano sats are where the growth is.

Either it's a logical reason for the lack of heavy lifting options, OR they just don't trust India or Russia with their toys.
