Proof is all around you and in your face. A casual search would give you enough info to realize if you can't see it, you don't want to. Current affairs and states of calamity in addition to consecutive accumulation of failures, even without the non-stop radiation toxifying plant and animals, disrupting immune capabilities, furthering an already unstable crumbling farming industry from financial/economy to nature is with no doubt the end.

after anomaly heat many crops just was destroyed. Now 1 kilo of potato 40-50 rubles and Russia is not exporting crops.

Freak weather took out most of my seedlings earlier this year. Central Valley California we usually can start planting seed (cool weather crops) in in mid to late February, the last official frost date is February 2.

This year we got a march frost, followed by storms with hail Most of my seedlings were crushed.

Yesterday I went out to pull some baby carrots, I have a serious cutworm invasion. I'm assuming the freakish wet weather we had all winter (over 200% the normal rain falls for us) is to blame.

However being an organic gardener I most likely am 'doomed' for the year. I lost most of the carrots, the damn worms nibble on each and every carrot, never actually eating just one. THEY do not know how to share :(.

Next year is supposed to be my personal Shmita "year of rest" ( [link to www.ask.com] As per the bible, I toil and till and sow the soil for 6 years, allowing the soil to go fallow the seventh year. It appears I will be doing this a year early.
