This is what it looks like through my telescope as well when I look at it. Quoting: Element5541thankyou, great video and if most of you with any decent cameras would see similar on MANY up there. Great Video Dudes!!.. Yes this is what I can see thru some binoculars at night. I dont have a high powered camera or telescope to take this any further, but I'm glad there is some response to what I am seeing and other people are noticing also. As for satellites floating around and deflecting the sun, I would have to say that I don't think so. There's more this and hopefully we can get some clarity from the masses.. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1329416 United States 04/12/2011 11:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow. The uncreative thinking style of ignoring the fact that one is in a box to begin with so that one does not have to think outside of it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1093617"Wow. There is a multi-colored flashing object in the sky which I have not seen before. There fore it must be: a) Nibiru/Planet X b) An Alien Mothership or craft (with varying intentions) c) An optical illusion deriving from atmospheric light refraction." Invariably one of these three answers will be given the majority of the time whenever one of the blinky-star threads gets started. I've been following these things for years. They are surveillance satellites. I used to see them all the time in Africa (in the 90's), but up until recently it has been illegal for US Intelligence agencies to task their LEO satellites over the continental United States (EO 12333). However, provisions in the USAPATRIOT Act and the John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 open up the skies over America to NSA, CIA, NRO, etc etc etc birds. The blinky effect comes from the sun reflecting off of the specially designed solar panels which are built around the satellite which is in the form of a cylinder. The petrolemm products (special plastic with a classified name) that are used to make the protective outer coating of the amorphous PV cells reflect light similarly to the way light is refracted off of water with motor oil in it. It is a "craft," but not one filled with either hostile alien invaders, or benevolent alien messiahs. It is simply a satellite which has not been flown over the US until a few years ago. Since when are satellites KNOWN parts of NAMED constellations ? Think outside of the box. I believe that the most important aspect of conspiracy research and analysis is in getting to the real facts of the matter, not trying to come up with the most sensationalist reason for every phenomenon and then going with the sensationalism as though it is fact. Let the MSM do that. If you are truly "awake" you would want the same, but there is a lot of false "waking" on GLP. |

Could be this. I watched it last night with 3 other people, and viewing it with binoculars. Had to keep refocusing to stay with it. Was very bright, about 30 degrees above the horizon, towards the NW. Was pulsating through the prismatic colours. Very beautiful. I live in the city of Melbourne, Australia. |

Happens with point sources of light, which stars are to us. Prismatic effect. Planets don't do it. Venus is steady for instance. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1314415Does this mean Venus is within the Earth's atmosphere? Explain to me why planets are immune to the effects of light refraction caused by atmospheric conditions! |

When satellites or metallic objects reflect sunlight in the night-sky -watching with the naked eye - you'll see a flare which fades; the object will only be visible, moving quickly for some moments before the flare and several seconds after it. |

Wondering that myself for a long time and searched till I found out what it is. [link to www.brighthub.com] I was excited too, thinking it was a few ships out there. LOL. Still really truly never know. |

Why then would an object supposedly further away (like a planet) be immune to this phenomenon? |

I don't think it would be a satellite if there was different color light spectrum's visible. Not too sure on the ship idea, but I just witness Sirius move to the South more...hmmm..Could be ships..and if so..what are they doing ? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1303042You're right about it not being a satellite because I would have noticed it when I was younger. Plus I would think there would be more like it. Don't they have a shit load of satellites up there? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 950299 United States 05/16/2011 04:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | These have been CRAFT for many years now. Our solar system is under transit to a new energy stream and they maintain the normal look people expect. Stars do not flash colors! Last night, about 11 pm I went outside and every star ship up there was flashing like crazy. In fact I don't see many real "stars" because of the city light effect. Quoting: Nobody in Particularthis thread should be pinned. You have been watching Sirius Starship also. Your absolutely correct, they are some sort of craft. When I go outside at night to see what's cooking in the sky, I see crafts moving around very slowly, so slowly in fact that I wasn't sure they were moving. I took videos of the crafts and didn't think anything got recorded cause I couldn't see the starts with the video camera. When I hooked it up to my computer I was floored. I did get the crafts on video and they were doing things that I did not see while filming them. They would scoot around so quickly that the naked eye can't catch it, but the camera did. BTW I'm in Vegas. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1422463 Spain 06/10/2011 09:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hi! I'm sorry for my bad English, I write from Spain, many months ago we saw the star with colors (red, blue, green), only with our eyes we could see the colors, after that we use binoculars. But we are impacted not only for the colors, beacouse when we watched the sky, looked right where the star was, it is as if we knew immediately where to look. This happened in Asturias (northern Spain) but also made a trip to the Canary Islands (with 1,900 kms away) and then we saw them, only look up, right there was, there was to be found. It is as the star we call. This was about five months ago. We spent a few months without that we had the need to look at the sky at night and only last week we look again at the sky ... and there it was again, just where I looked. Has anyone clarified something else? I've seen that in the post speaking people of very different countries and latitudes (Canada, Australia, England ...) Is it possible to see a star from the world all at the same time, on the same day? Sorry to be so clumsy, but do not understand much. They say that if it is a phenomenon of the atmosphere, but if so, can also affect other stars?. If they are UFO, why they are always in the same place?. I saw an interview with Sixto Paz, do you know?, talking about aliens and the belt of Orion, this is curious is not it? [link to mundofleko.files.wordpress.com] [link to www.youtube.com] |

It's not blinking, not an artificial beacon and not a space ship. If you keep your head/camera perfectly still you'll notice it only stays one colour. Then move your head/camera and it will cycle through different colours, this is to do with the scattering of light due to the angle it is hitting us from. |
