Should be an easy capture for the GLP telescope as well as my own, but at magnitude 11 at the closest point of the approach it'll still be far too dim to see by eye (and probably by binoculars as well) unfortunately.
Quoting: Astronutso, in the whole world of astronomy no one have a eyes on this event? smell bs desinfo Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1154418Serious amateur astronomers will no doubt observe it, but it's not something your casual backyard sky gazer is going to be able to see. That's pretty much the norm for a NEO flyby. This object is certainly larger than most NEOs, and magnitude 11 is brighter than a normal NEO flyby, but it's still beyond the reach of casual star gazers.
