Re: Has anyone ever been involved with a BPD female before?
My ex-wife is BPD. It was hard to deal with, though I did for near on 6 years. I really did love her, dseeply, but she just got worst and worst. It became impossible to be patient and deal with it day in and day out as I had been doing.

One moment she was kind, compassionate, loving, soft and gentle. Then suddenly she would just become angry, irritated, upset and outright mean and cold. She would argue with me over the stupidest things, make me feel like a piece of shit and then not want to talk to me anymore... an hour or two would go by and she would come back and sneak up behind me, give me a hug and tell me how much she loved me (as if the last few hours didn't ever happen.)

On top of that if a girl flirted with me even lightly while we were out (even though I would never respond to the flirtations in kind) she would get incredibly pissed off and go into silent-cold-killer mode. The jealousy was just unbelievable though I never gave her ANY reason to believe I could possibly cheat on her.

There are many things in life that sucked that I would not care to repeat once again. However, I honestly can say that I would rather cut off my own scrotum with a spoon (slowly) than ever have a relationship with a woman like that again. I feel sorry for her, because I know men out there will just get together with her for sex and then leave her once they realize she is screwed up in the head... but what can one do?
 Quoting: ArchaicSEAL 873894

A buddy of mine has been with a woman exactly like that for a year now and she moved in with him about 6 months ago. I saw the signs, had her pegged from a mile away and tried to warn him...

Now I'm hearing all the stories. Holy crap. He doesn't know how he's going to get her to move all her shit out now. The guy is f***ed...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 717934

Oh yes. Worst part is you try to warn peeps and they don't listen. I cam empathize with him fully. It can start making you feel like your honestly going insane and are going to go out and start killing everyone and then yourself. That's when you realize that you MUST get out, no matter what it costs, or what you have to say or do... You. Must. Get. Out.

Or if you're lucky like me she will agree with you one day and leave (though she won't leave you alone even if you change your phone numbers.)

I was with a BPD male for some time. Weird thing is he had surrounded himself with BPD friends as well as Bi-polar and manics... Anyway, didnt realize this until too late. When I finally called him out on his ill behaviour and his spite of people and the fact that he thinks he can treat others however he wants to treat them he turned it all on me and had me convinced I was crazy, until of couse one of his closest friends came over and gave me the low down on how crazy this dude really is...

Oh yeah. That's exactly what it felt like for a good 5 out of the 6 years. I just couldn't do it anymore. What I described in my last post would happen two or three times A DAY. I started dreading to come home from work...

Anyhow, I just wish her the best, I hope she finds someone who can tolerate her and actually love her. I couldn't do it anymore, though she realized that she was killing me slowly and chose to leave instead. Though, that too was funny, because then she would call me all the time and get upset because it didn't seem that I cared that she left (wtf?). I fell on my knees a thanked God for getting me out of that (we married before I came to Christ fully, and when I became a Christian she wanted no part in it... which, as you know, makes things even MORE difficult.)

You got to wait until you got home?

Mine would call over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over... at work.

I'm the same... I wish her the best (and especially hope she's received help since).

But I've especially spent many nights Praying for her Son... she'd keep him in tears each & every day... and he's an awesome kid who deserved a better life.

Re: Has anyone ever been involved with a BPD female before?
are there support groups (online or real life) for people who have been victimized by people with BPD. The mindfuck and physical beatings my girlfriend laid on me were so bad.

The mind fuck was really the worst, I am a big man and the physical hitting wasnt much. But the extreme love one second and extreme anger the next was so bad.

I honestly feel as though I can never even get in a relationship again and I struggle with life so much more now...

It's ten years in my past these days AC & I still Pray for him... that's all I can do, and the best thing by far.

About the calling at work... you know you've got a problem at home when the guy in the office next to yours (who's been back to work from breaking his back for two days & is still in a brace & severe pain) comes to your door & says "I'm really sorry man... it's terrible what you're going through".

That's the one thing I thank God that never happened. We didn't have kids. Which leads me to the ONE thing that pissed me off deeply about her... when she got pregnant she went out, of her own volition, without botheriing to inform me that she was pregnant and got an abortion. It took me awhile but I eventually forgave her for murdering my child. However, she always maintained that it was my fault that she got an abortion. According to her I would have never loved the child. It was the epitome of a "WTF moment" in my life. It just made absolutely no sense, none at all... If she had slapped me across the face with baseball bat I wouldn't have been as dumbstruck as I was during that argument.

Jesus, time to move on, just remembering this crap bring bile to my throat.

What I learned was that BPD and Bipolar disorder kind of go hand in hand most of the time. Atleast it did with my ex-wife... it was VERY hard to know who she was when I would get home or even wake up in the morning. You start to give names to the different "sides" and when you wake up in the morning and you talk to her for the first time you realize that "oh, she's such and such this morning." And yes, like you said, she would change so fast that it would leave me wondering what just happened. Odd thing was that she would be talkative, having a good time (if we had gone out to eat somewhere for example) and then suddenly she would just go quiet, just like that, just shut up for like 2 or 3 minutes and then she would suddenly be "someone else" - and usually NOT in a very good mood.

Heh, she only called me to complain. Not once did she ever call me to just say hello, or tell me she loved me. Somebody would piss her off and she would call me wherever I was and just tear into me. It didn't happen very often (thank God.) One time she called me and asked me for the combination to my gun vault (I have an extensive firearms collection) because she saw some guy walking around the outside of the house (we lived in a gated community.) When I wouldn't give her the combination she just hung up, packed her stuff and moved in with a girlfriend of hers for a few days. Wouldn't answer my calls or want to talk to me when I would call her girlfriend and ask to speak to her. Then a few days later (three if I remember right) she just showed up at home and was treating me as if nothing ever happened and everything was fine.

As for yours having a son, I feel for him. I think there would be nothing tougher than to have a mother (or father) like that. That is one of the many things I thank God for, that we didn't have a kid involved in all of this.

Plenty of those to go around these days. Seems every girl I meet and date is like that. And what's with wanting to have sex on the first date? I mean, seriously, can we get to know each other a little better first BEFORE? It's screwed up honestly, and then when I politely decline because I really want to get to know this person better she thinks that I have no interest in her and then won't talk to me. Her I am, trying to be a gentleman, to do the right thing and not let jumping into bed screw up what could be good relationship and I get ignored for it?!

It's unbelievable. Worst part is that it happens even when I would date girld from a church I used to go to. Here are supposed Christian women who want to bump right after the first or second date. I just have to shake my head in wonder and sometimes even go the "lolwut?!" route.

It's unbelievable. Worst part is that it happens even when I would date girld from a church I used to go to. Here are supposed Christian women who want to bump right after the first or second date. I just have to shake my head in wonder and sometimes even go the "lolwut?!" route.

yiiiiikes....sounds like slutty girls, not just personality disorders.
i would say a majority of my high school was like that...but i was the opposite so i had no clue anyone did anything besides *gasp* making out! hahahaha ohhhh

all i meant was, i was dx'd bpd...and i'm relatively normal.

i'm sure there are some with sincere personality disorders and they may be gift-wrapped bits of hell....

so either majority of people are BPD anymore...or psychiatry is a scam--or a little of both. but i'm sure these people (and i know i am not) possessed by demons...or even evil....

i make mistakes. i can overreact.
i think most would be hard-pressed to say they themselves are not guilty of these things.....

maybe what these women are more afflicted by is the power of suggestion and going to a doctor to be diagnosed with some bullshit that gives them an excuse to give in to their every whim and emotion....

but as a supposed BPD i can say, no evil here. just misled for a time...
so maybe those girls just need some help...or tough love.

or maybe they have bigger problems...like demonic possession. :(

I am now 63 and know what he was telling me was accurate.

If you get to know them well enough, you realize that there is always something whacco about them.

i remind my husband daily (and my male friends on occasion):

With a cold dead stare and a very slow methodical tone "Bitches are crazy" "Be VERY careful".

I like to keep them a little on edge. It keeps 'em check. If this approach seems to be losing its effectiveness, I remind them of the woman who sewed her husband into the sheets while he slept and then proceeded to beat him with a baseball bat and set the bed on fire. And who can forget Bobbit? That crazy bitch cut the dude's pecker off and threw it out of the car window.

I'm telling you guys....be care.....bitches are crazy. You never know what we might do.

It's not necessarily demonic possession, it could just be attached entities or thought forms.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30966

It could be that the bitch is hormonal. But it's not "attached entities or thought forms", you fruitcake.
