My ex-husband is BPD. All was ok while I was a stay at home mom under his eye 24/7. Everyone said he was the perfect husband. They like to please at first- and almost seem to good to be true. After 5 years, I started to go out once a week to socialize with my girlfriends. That began the slow spiral down. Fights before I had plans, waiting outside the bathroom asking me what I was doing and when I was coming out, not letting our own kids snuggle with me (it was Daddy time), arguing that I wasn't dressing sexy enough at home, like I did when I went out, calling me 30 times in one hour, imagining that guys were looking at me because I was wanting them, thinking that I was bored in the marriage, thinking I would find someone better, he thought he'd trapped me with kids, after seeing a vampire movie asking me if I thought he was one, my mom told me he never kept his eyes off me, more putting his head, fists through walls......then after a few more years, with lots of therapy (marriage and his own) he had an affairs, and when I spoke of leaving him, he tried to kill himself 3 x (once they lost a pulse), more threatening phone calls.......after 11 years I got the hell out. He's now married to an unattractive non loving person who controls him with her insanity just like his bi- polar crazy mother did.

Funnily enough, my present boyfriend has a crazy ex girlfriend with BPD. They were broken up for a few months before I started dating him. She stalked us for 3 years, calling us repeatedly on vacations in our hotels, GPS'd our vehicles, sent private eyes to watch us and then would email us with the facts, tracked us down and got out of her car and whacked me (i never even met her once), emailing my parents, my kids, filing false restraining orders on him, false charges on him-he was always found innocent once they heard her phone messages. Yikes! I still worry she's going to have someone kill me. Anyways, I took her to court for stalking and battery and she plead guilty (had too) and is on probation for 3 years. She's stopped for now because she'll go to jail, but I've heard other stories of BPD who never stop once they decide you're the reason they suffer. It's usually their parent who abused them. My hairdressers cousin got his stalker to go to jail, only to get out 5 years later and drive her car through his front door.

If someone seems to good to be true, and has a bad family history with abuse and/or abandonment, or doesn't keep in touch with family, has no deep close relationships or blames people for their pain all the time, RUN.

I was heavily possessed by GAAP and some other jinns about a year ago. It lasted for a few months and they were teaching me sereval very important lessions, wich i couldn't have understood in any other way.
The problem is that psychiatrists cannot acknowledge the existence of jinns and deamons. It's considered to be unscientific.
Now i'm taking Zyprexa wich seems to shield them off, though eating tons of pork meat may have a similar effect.

My daughter-in-law is BPD. She's been married to my son for about 14 years now. Yes, she is a head case. It's like she has a hypnotic trance on my son. I have watched it all these years and I still don't understand it.

They have two children. My daughter in law has fucked everyone's head in the household to the point I can only shake my head. I pray for my grandchildren.

She also has a prescription drug problem which intensifies her mood swings. She's always high but she's done prescription drugs so long she looks normal on the outside.

About 2 years ago she attempted to kill my son with a shotgun and the cops were called. He still forgave her. Then a few weeks later she attempted suicide (yeah right) in front of her children.

My son committed her for the three day observation but she is such a good lier they let her out with requests for follow-up in private counseling.

Then she started hounding my son for a reconciliation. Emails by the dozens, phone calls, one right after another, visits to ME to convince him to get back together.

My son wouldn't see her. He was afraid of being sucked back in. Eventually it did happen and they have been back together for about 2 years now. Again, it's like my son has been hypnotized.

She sucks the life out of everyone in her presence. She lies and she's really good at it. Somehow she has convinced my son to give her his email password and she goes in and deletes anything I send him (or anyone else from his family). I know because I have asked him if he received such-an-such email and he always says no. But she deletes emails I send to my granddaughter too. She controls their every move.

Then the jealousy some have mentioned in this thread. Insanely jealous.

I don't see any end in sight. I can only pray. And I do pray to the powers above to save my grandchildren, somehow.

Once you've seen it and experienced it it's something you never forget.

At first you are so taken by them. Their zeal for life! Their enthusiasm but when the ax falls the first time and you see the opposite side of them, YOU KNOW what you're dealing with.

Honestly I don't think people with BPD should even be in a relationship. They are extremely abusive my brother is and his poor wife was so abused by him and is still dealing with the hurt he caused her. They make really messed up partners. I had a boyfriend that had BPD I don't think it matters if you're male or female.

Some of the traits of BPD:

They love to play mind games and are generally very verbally abusive and many times a physically abusive as well. Extreme anger, feelings of grandeur and an overinflated ego, paranoid all the time that you are cheating on them (even though it is usually them that is cheating) calling you a hundred times a day, treating you like property, revenge oriented. I could go on and on but that's a snippet of BPD

I had a gun put to my head and told that if I ever leave him he will hunt me down and kill me. I was left at his house for days without a way out. I lost all my friends. I was threatened that my family members would be killed. I was verbally abused all day long. I was living on an island at the time and this guy was friends with all the police and I was scared I would never be able to leave. To this day I still have some issues from all the abuse I endured by the hand of this monster stay far away from BPD..

Thank everyone for their stories and comments. My ex was a milder case of BPD than many here, particularly in the physical threatening category - she was inherently too pacifistic in her disposition to hit or pull a gun or knife, but the irrational mood swings and constant need/hunger for nothing but platitudes is spot on.

Prior to marriage date two BPD females, but luckily spotted it early on and qickly moved on. Unfortunately I missed the milder case with my ex during our courtship.

Since my divorce I have now seen a number of female BPD's out there, which at first left me scratching my head as to why so many. In retrospect it makes sense ... since BPD's types are much more prone to divorce and after divorce multiple serial relationships that never last as their partner becomes wise to them, they show up in the "later in life dating pool" in much greater numbers than their overall numbers in society would suggest (those who are NOT of a BPD mindset are more likely to get into a stable relationship and stay there)

I am glad I am out. I would be 6 feet under by now if I was not. I just worry about my now almost grown kids since I know it has affected them ... I just don't know how badly.

Good luck to all who live with BPD people. I would just remind those of you who do that there IS life after such a relationship, but it will probably take you some time to get regrounded if you have been with them for any length of time (probably about the same amount of time as the grief period after the death of a close loved one, ie: 3 to 5 years)

After the last one, I'm not taking anymore chances.

We had some good times... but she got dull in the end.

She got mixed up in a masonic charity for black immigrants called Mosaic based on the South Coast of England.

I hope she's ok. I would call but don't want to get sucked back into it...... They have an odd way of sucking you back into their lives with empty promises of love and sincerity which never materialise, and you the 'White Knight' think you can help them.

All they need to sort 'em out is decent sex, dope and Jackie D. Forget about anything deeper, they can't process it.

Absolutely. It's like getting bitten by a vampire -- it charms it's way into your life, then drains you of your life essence and contaminates you with its maddening venom.

Not only do they fuck you up big time when you're with them, but they keep dumping you and keeping you in fear that they maybe screwing someone else.

Then, when you finally break up with them for good, you have to deal with the heartache, and THEN because the BPD is terrified of being alone, they immediately latch on to someone else. *Immediately* being the operative word here.

So... you have to deal with a fucked up mind from the damage they caused you, breaking up, and seeing them immediately hook up with someone else, and move on as though you never existed.

Pure brutality.

If we all wore t-shirts that declared "I survived a Shredder", everyone we met who'd had a BPD partner would know EXACTLY what we meant...

During my second session with a therapist (because you know, "i" was the one who was crazy"), he cleared his throat and asked me if i had money and a place to go.

When in puzzlement, i asked him "Why", he said it was because he suspected my husband was Borderline Personality Disordered and that he would kill me in the parking lot of the grocery store and then probably kill himself.

All in front of the kids.

He said he didn't want to read about me in the local paper and could i please begin making plans to get away.

I'm a woman and this is every woman on the planet. It's a monthly cycle. If you are experiencing extreme cycles of crazy from your woman it probably means that she is having an actual reaction to birth control. Those things make women nuts to the point where they stop recognizing their own crazy especially if they have been on them a long time.

Most healthy women who are not on birth control are aware when when the normal level cranky and moodiness is setting in and can usually mitigate the effects or at least give you a heads up. Women taking birth control can't recognize it and it becomes worse with the length of time taking them.

I am a firm believer that birth control pills have caused more that a few divorces. Poor fellows haven't a clue what hit them and the women don't know what happened either.

The Catholic Church was right about banning the pill. Now they know it is abortifacient as well (sometimes prevents implantation of a fertilized egg). Contraception is one reason western society has decayed so quickly since the early '60s. Abortion is the extension of the contraceptive mentality.

Birth control pills and abortions do not cause peoples' faces to take on the flavor of Satan while they are shredding your psyche and hoovering it up to do it all over again because it's the only way they can have an 'organism'.

Has anyone figured out why women's periods are often synchronized with the moon? I'm male and often notice my mood improves around a full moon. Strange. It's not like the moon is any closer to the Earth during a full moon.

But taking all of those hormones is not natural. It's bound to wreak havoc on their bodies and minds.
