Confusing units of radiation measurement or How the Japanese government did a huge disservice to the World
[link to lucaswhitefieldhixson.com]

In the wake of the March 11 9.0 Japanese earthquake and resulting tsunami, the Japanese government noticed high initial readings across their radiation monitoring stations in three prefectures (what we would call states). Their radiation network is called SPEEDI, and it is very similar to our RADNET. Since they didn’t want to concern the public, and they didn’t know how damaged SPEEDI sensors were, they took off-line the high ones almost immediately and declared them “under survey”. Zerohedge and numerous websites have discussed this issue, and in the last few days, the Japanese government admitted as much. A less gentile person might call them bold faced liars, but I digress.

Transparency in data reporting is key. Any scientific study can completely obfuscate the truth by omission of data. If you’re a patient, and the doctor only gives you part of the news, or even just the good news, then you can’t make informed decisions about your health. Worse, if your doctor has the data hidden from them, or is told that certain levels are just fine, then they have no way to determine your exposure level. Clearly, by the Japanese government’s own admission, they hid the truth of the radiation exposure of Japanese citizens in surrounding regions near Fukushima.

The United States and Japanese governments have failed to perform their expected duty to protect the citizens of Earth.
The EPA, FDA, and other organizations all seem to be lying to us -- demonstrating their lack of concern for human well-being. We have the data, and lack of it, to prove the negligence.
Therefore, we must establish an independent survival network to measure and report up-to-date environmental conditions across the entire planet.
Concerned citizens benefit everyone by supporting this growing network. People apply money to the locations about which they are concerned, effectively voting on where to place equipment and the professionals that can provide accurate data to the network.
All collected data is shared openly and freely across multiple redundant computer networks, avoiding central points of failure and attempts at censorship and other forms of outside interference. All conclusions that may be drawn from the data are performed at the receiving end-points.
We begin by addressing the world’s foremost environmental disaster: the Fukushima radiation threat.

the japanese government and there agents (shills)
have been changing the units of measure from
one report to another and obfuscating all of
the information from the very beginning in
order to keep the people confused... all along
saying that they have been putting out the
information in a timely manner.

Just like the west coast. They took them down when they hit over 500 and said it was "too high to be accurate"

I've been trying to find people to look at John Hutchinsons Tesla Rebar project.

Any new news on that?

I am error checking this story. if you go to the first link: [link to atmc.jp] you can toggle through a series of pages to get the information from five of the active reactors (1,2,3,5,6). #4 has been unloaded and is off-line, though of course that's where the majority of spent fuel rods are stored.

2 Sv is a lethal dose. If you look at #1 reactor, the data is as follows: D/W: 100Sv/h 、S/C: 12.7Sv/h I am trying to determine what these values mean. Is this something to do with the interior, or is this the level of detection outside of the reactor? If we truly have 12.7 Sv/h being generated then any workers in the radiation zone are being exposed to a lethal dose.

Although this is not an academic source, it quotes from numerous academic sources.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Developing. If it is indeed this high, it may indicate criticality is taking place in an on-going manner at #1.

It is Saturday morning in Japan, and a little after 10 am. There are no news stories on the Japanese wire services, and no reports of this on NHK's English channel. For now, I think we have either assume that most people have not picked up on it, or the readings are not correctly being interpreted.

Here is a link to tranlate the page directly from Reactor #1:

[link to translate.google.com]

Based upon this, it appears that D/W means Dry Well and S/C means Supression Chamber therefore:

Dry Well: 100Sv/h 、Supression Chamber: 12.7Sv/h

Yesterday nitrogen wasexperiementally introduced into Unit#1 to displace oxygen in order to prevent hydrogen explosions.

TEPCO has not released a statement at this time. Neither has the IAEA. This may due to the fact that it is Saturday morning.

This has been one of the most difficult blog entries, we’ve written. In order to gather the most thorough evidence to date, we poured through countless news stories from Japan and the World, as well as official press releases from TEPCO, NRC documents, Areva status documents, and a JAIF report in order to determine the truth at Fukushima. We had assumed that since the IAEA is an international organization, it would have the most honest report, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. What you’re reading took numerous hours of research over many days to discover the theoretical timeline of Plutonium radioactive isotope leakage at the Fukushima Daiichi facility.

An independent assessment by university researchers from Kyoto University and Hiroshima University finds that the radiation levels are not being correctly reported by the Japanese government nor TEPCO.
