Religion is a choice God gave us all free will to do just that choose. What is sad is that a lot of atheist believe in guys like Edgar Casey , the Mayan calendar I Ching and others. Do they not take faith?

The sad fact is is that about 90%of organized religion stopped teaching the bible properly and added mans rites to there masses and credos . The bible is a story start to finish , it is two fold and every nit of it is prophetic. Every story in the bible has an application today just the names are changed but circumstances are akin.

What always puzzles me, is why people care what others wish to believe (both atheists and religious people)...do the ideas of others diminish your own beliefs? Seems to me those people are looking for validation...strength in numbers kinda deal..."if enough people believe it, it HAS to be true"... There will always be more questions than answers...how you would like to find a plausible (not necessarily correct) answer for those questions is up to you and only you...it's called faith...some have faith in science others in religion and you know what? They're both right...nothing is set in stone...the only difference between science and religion is the approach they take towards answering their questions.

Religion is foolish to ever assume you know more of God than another is ignorant, especially when one professes God is in all of us.

the way i see it, cause and effect are just a concept we create the idea of.. big bang -> subatomic weirdness -> elements and gas stuff -> primordial soup -> primary life, etc etc, there is no chance in that, the primary life IS the same process as the big bang in that, you can't say it would or could have gone any other way.. because it didn't, and what chance is there.. there is none, it's like saying it's chance to roll a dice, you only are ignorant of the variables, it's pure physics that determines how the dice will roll and that is INEVITABLE,

you can say about quantum physics but at long as this level of reality remains predictable, i dont see what relevance it has, i think perhaps it is somehow the 'random' or the special thing that ebbs and flows throughout allowing the otherwise fixed and rigid structures of physics become the infinite conceptualised, ... and that's how i see a lot of things now, like, music, you have a fixed set of limitations (fixed notes or frequencies) but then you have this kind of infinite emotional chaos that discerns patterns within it, but it's not on a 'logical' level, it's entirely the opposite.....

so yeah, you can't say 'evolution' somehow disproves god, because .. well, how the fk would you have expected to have got here?!? you expect your choices to have a weight, but if 'god' just went around changing shit all the time, that would completely fuck the integrity of the system up!, it would be a sham, it wouldn't work, this reality has to be the way it does or it simply wouldn't make any fucking sense! thus, you make choices, and you or others must bear the consequences, i think it's really quite obvious, in order for it to work the way it does, it has to come into being abiding by its own rules..

the key is time. and masses of it. just like a few mud huts in an area can become a city given enough time. there is nothing extraordinary about it when time has been unlimited.

IMO to be atheist is just as ignorant as to follow a religion. No one can give absolute proof as to the origins of the universe and how it all started. I'm an agnostic and with an open mind. That is where I am most comfortable.
