Good post OP. I will add though that sustainable communities still have to start at home. People need to develop an understanding of the process on their own land for any type of community organization to even begin. That is step #1, and the hardest of all, especially for those living in big cities.

It's too late. We've already crossed the point of no return. It's all downhill from here.

Im worried about those who live at that island where is canada and united states, because those 2 places can become like "liberia" where people eating people for food. (Most likely only in cities and remote areas stays more civilized)

So on, if things go worse, start organize people first from "remote areas" and then when you got more people around, then focus with others to organize people from bigger cities.

Sametime have plans what to do according to "needs" to stay alive. After needs is confirmed, then you can focus to "entertainment" safely.

If you need some good society idea plan where to get somekind good social background, i suggest you to research about resource based economy.

There is rumors everywhere that goverment in america will be shutdown and i don't know will it or not, but i write these things if it will be shutdown and people looking "solutions" to problems. There will be many chapters in america who helping organizing people around resource based economy, but those people can also freak out and lose organization skills with that to sometime... depends on how fast they recovering from freaking out.

But this is help things for worst time.

Social part cities to remote areas.

Cities: Liberia is example what city can become when people don't know what to do. Some will start killing others for food. Some will just die thinking everything is now lost. Some become extremely crazy and will be killing and raping people randomly. Some will suicide.

Remote areas: These people most of who living in remote areas are knowledgeable and can response fast changes what happening suddendly and is very good "helping hand" to cooperate. Some people in remote areas can be crazy, especially if communication have been very low to other people, but if you know they have internet, that showing somekind communication skills and they will not pull first shotgun and then ask.

Some in remote areas also can become cannibals if they buying their food from shops and losing their minds if they can't buy anymore food from shops and then they do everything to get food. (So this will happen only if some people become crazy when they can't fill their food supplys anymore from things bought from shops)

This is somekind social information so this will give somekind information of different types of people what kind they can also become if situation get worse.
