Well maybe Armageddon fixes the place. I'm not convinced, though we do seem to be going down that road at an amazing speed.

And our involvement in Libya hasn't helped calm things there. I think what happened is that Egypt got out of our control. We did not want Mubarak gone, but the place slipped away from us. Maybe Tunisia too. So then Obama saw that we were losing one domino after another, and decided to try to flip Gaddafi out of Libya, whom he really did want gone. Unfortunately, Gaddafi is about the toughest guy in the world, a truly remarkable military mind. And so we're stuck there and embarrassed.

We look like idiots over there. Let's get out with our tail between our legs before we make more mistakes and commit ourselves to even more spending and reparations.
