The Bible says no one will know the day or the hour when Christ will arrive. But we will know the season.

There are many Christians who hold steadfast to dates. I, for one, do not. All I know, is that I need to keep my heart ready for any day because He could come take me if I were to die at anytime. My faith does not rely on dates, but in Christ. That is all I need. I look at date setters and I shake my head because they are so worried about WHEN he will come back rather than worried about the people that do not know Christ or who are weak in their faith with Christ.

I am certainly not a bible thumper or a bible scholar, but even I know the bible says man can not divine the future, and he should not try. I doubt your claim that the bible says that, but if you want to quote the verses that guarantee that date, I'm open to you point. Otherwise;

This whole thing is based off the fact that they bible claims to know when God told Noah to get on his boat. God mentions 7 days, people take the 1 day = 1 thousand years thing and use it here. So, 7,000 years later is may 21 2011.

The bible gives no date at all. To read the scriptures in your own language see holybiblefoundation.org. They have bibles in dozens of languages for FREE download. The Gospel of John is a good place to start. See for yourself what God has to say.

If it were that simple Jesus wouldn't have told us nobody knows the date. These people are utter fools or satan worshipers out decieving people. Get people to believe your lies and when it doesn't happen, it discourages them. It's a classic tactic and this OP is engaged in that very thing.

Aye but with the whole nobody knowing the date thing, you are forgetting another important part of the bible which states that in the end times the bible secrets will be revealed. So the date will be made available, just not until the end times are here, so that people living before the revealing of the date can't warn others ahead of time.

I doubt it's may 21st either way, but the bible does say we will know if you read both parts, only one part says no one will know the date.
