You aren't talking about getting a tattoo on your face (I would understand an objection about this). She needs to support you. It isn't about what you look like anyway. Oh, and I am a female-just a few years younger than your wife. |

Until recently when my older looking face simply doesn't match brown hair. It is just looks silly and certainly fools no one. I'm much happier now that I've embraced the grey. Wife, no so much.... she will be coloring her hair (just like her mom) until she's well into her 100's.... |

Is it really such a hassle for you to respect her request? Have you ever try it???? This stuff burns right thru the skin and you have to apply it every week.... It truly is a pain in the ass...not to mention the cost.... |

She needs to grow up and accept the real you. I think men look better as they get older. Quoting: Cat blackoh yea baby, here i am.... |

Trying to remember to look myself in the mirror before going out, so that I don't have food in my face, muck in my eyes or a great big booger in the moustache. That's about it. (Would post "Bankrobber" with the Clash here...) Yes, guess I would be in deep thought about it, if my sweet lady would show distress about me being what I am. Why be ashamed of experience? BTW: Conicidence :) I was born in -63...still got my hair too Peace to you, OP. And good luck. |

It truly is a pain in the ass...not to mention the cost.... I've never used a haircolor that you had to apply every week? And if it's unpleasant to use, try a different brand (or stop using it obviously, not saying you should use it). The stuff I use doesn't burn, I wouldn't use it if it did. I used some once a long time ago that almost knocked me out from the ammonia fumes, that was horrible. I use a semipermanent one and have to reapply it about every four to six weeks. |
Frankenstein User ID: 952673 United States 04/09/2011 06:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think a man with grey hair looks distinguished. Like Sean Connery. I used to have a crush on a professor of mine who had greying at the temple. He was kindof a twerp, but grey hair on him made him look so suave. Quoting: shame_spiralso glad i wondered into this thread... i'm feeling much better |
